Retrieving old VSTs from Sonar 8.5 and the X series

Hello all,

This might seem strange but how can I retrieve the VSTs from Sonar 8.5 and the X series?

I am revisiting some of my old projects and the VSTs I used ack then don't show up in CbB when I load them in CbB.

If I was able to retrieve them, would they work in CbB?

Install the programs & deselect all but the FX. Should probably reinstall CbB last.

Most will work minus a few 32 bit and DX types like StudioVerb2.

I have all X series 32 & 64 installed so I can revisit older projects w/o incident.

Yes, anything installed with 64bit SONAR will work with CbB.

Most may be installed using the advanced install option.

Some plug-ins such V-Vocal and certain effects bundled with Platinum require the appropriate DAW to be installed.

When installing a legacy DAW (as opposed to plug-ins via an advanced install) it is critical that CbB be installed last. Failure to install CbB last will result in old "shared" binaries being used by CbB which will cause problems.
