Jimbo 88
I'd love to hear thoughts on how to make the mix better. So...with covid hanging over everyone, I recorded the Trumpet player in my garage (in the winter Ha!). I pitched the song up to Bb to record the trumpet, then pitched everything down a 1/2 step to record the geetars, bass and vocals. Can you tell the Trumpet has been pitched down a half step? This is sung and written by Cary Drake. I got to write the horn arrangement and produce the song.
KSband
Things sound pretty good but the kick is really distracting. It's a big woofy over powering thump. I don't think it fits at all, but if you love it at least turn it down. The trumpet sounds great.

Cool tune, other than the kick the mix works here. t I'll hold the like for the re-mix
Bajan Blue
Agree with the comments re the kick - i found it a bit over powering here in the studio - apart from that mix is good and loved the track Nigel
