Douglas Kirby Posted January 31, 2022 Posted January 31, 2022 Hi Everybody, This is a new track for the album I'm currently working on called "The Westerly Sessions Vol. X". I've been enjoying Amplitude 5 lately, which is used heavily on this one. As always, any comments and critiques are welcome, and thanks for listening. Lynn Wilson Posted February 1, 2022 Posted February 1, 2022 This is a very solid song! I walked around my studio on my second listen to hear this mix from different perspectives, and it works all over the place. You always make me feel that you're writing from life experience which gives your songs authenticity. But, WOW, what a life you've lead! My hats off to you, one of the more prolific writers on this site. 1
Wookiee Posted February 1, 2022 Posted February 1, 2022 @Douglas Kirby worked for me, sounds fine here in the studio on the Events. 1

Also, I used the ProChannel 76 compressor on it. 1

bjornpdx Posted February 6, 2022 Posted February 6, 2022 Doug, you must live at the Toby studio you're so prolific. Don't think I've heard the BG "aaahs" in your songs before. Nice. Performance and production are excellent as usual. -Bjorn
