3/4 quantize

Hi I am trying to quantize in 3/4 whole but it does not snap to the whole, it seems to be thinking in 4/4, am I doing something wrong?

Use dotted half note.

A whole note has the value of 4 quarter notes regardless of time signature.

Change the time signature in the Transport module. You should have done that at the start so you timeline , metronome and other features would be correct. Then you quantize to a 1/4 or smaller but not a whole.

This is correct if you want to quantise to a whole bar in 3/4.

If however you actually want whole beats, then set it to 1/4.

Correct 

Whole notes are not used in 3/4 time.

I think OP  wants to snap to measure. But snap to the quarter would likely be more useful.??
