FR : Per Track Midi Quantize For Inspector

I am asking for the functionality of the Quantize Plugin from the MidiFX to be replicated in the Midi Inpector per track for the following reasons:

1. The plugin is more flexible than the Process - Quantize menu as you can tweak the parameters 'on the fly' for best results ..some may ask ' well why not just use the MifiFX plugin then ' and my answer would be that (a) it takes time to instantiate if you want it on lots of track and (b) You can'tadd it to the FX bin of a Simple Instrument Track. 

2. There is a great big space just crying out for something useful to be put there

If you watch this tutorial from another DAW you can see how handy it is, and how it operates.

Yes - I meant you can't add them to the track FX bin

I’ve never noticed that tab before I guess because I am new to using simple instrument tracks?

Notice how in the video he had to change to a midi track. 

If you find yourself needing to use the advanced midi inspector strip  with a Simple instrument track then you have to add a midi track and drag the midi data from a simple instrument track to the midi track. And then you can also use midi effects. It’s the one of the down sides of Simple instrument tracks. 

This is just plain wrong.

There is only one type of instrument track. It is a presentation of an audio+MIDI track pair.

The inspector for an instrument track has two tabs. One for the audio track and one for the MIDI track that make up the instrument track.

It shows opening the MIDI tab in the instrument track inspector.

The audio tab has the same FX rack that is shown in the Track View.

The MIDI tab has the MIDI FX rack for the instrument track, however; it is not shown in the Track View. This is what the OP claims he meant by

In the Track View, instrument tracks also hide the MIDI output so the MIDI inspector tab is handy when adding a drum map to an instrument track.

For clarification, all I am asking is whether it's possible to add extra functionality to the Midi Tab in the Inspector so it has the most  commonly used quantization options available without needing to insert a plugin each time.

Haha..yes you could put it that way..actually that might better but maybe quite a bit more complex for the Devs to code.

Input Quantize is already there. True not quite the same, as it works while entering notes rather than fix-em after the fact, I suspect few knew it or use it.

I also learned why there's a Q in the record button array - you'll never see it till this feature is enabled.
