Afro Latin percussion suggestions

I have some free wav files that have worked well on a song or two but they didn't work on a slower tempo, just sounded awful.  Looking for suggestions of how to get some good sounding bongos, congas, timbales,shakers etc. onto my tracks.

You don't list what you're using for drums.
EZDrummer (ToonTrack) has Latin Percussion (been around a while so you'll see some good sales) and Latin Cuban Percussion
(newer so not in discount yet I don't think).
I have Latin Percussion and find it very useful, comes with a good midi package.

I suspect most VSTi "Drummers" will have some Latin Percussion.

Not sure on the Afro side...

I'm using Jamstix with the percussion add on. It works OK for some things but it kind of sounds the same, not very versatile.
