Is this hunch to the left or to the right and have you had it verified?
Just asking because  I might want to apply for his position:

Occupation:Bell-ringer of Notre Dame cathedral.

I think they might need some new bells first.

I'd talk to the current ringer, first. He's got some pull with the church.

I've always wondered why people who build churches have so much faith they feel the need to put a lightning rod on the roof.

Ducks and runs for cover ...

Silly it is because of Municipal Code. City needs Permit revenue...................?
Now I need to run for cover too!

Those things only become an issue long after churches started putting up lightning rods.

Revenue gimmick for weddings... They auction off to the highest bidding party for which person stands on a grounding plate during the ceremony.

Sadly, I wasted all of that money on a day with no storm ?

Sad that the fire happened and now some French Billionaires want to donate. Why weren't they donating before the fire for the on going restoration?

As I see it, people don't always appreciate what they have until it almost gets destroyed right in front of their faces. I can think of about a half-million examples of that on a daily basis, in fact...

You have a good point. Most of us seem to fall into that trap.

I volunteer to test this theory!  Anyone have a billion they could give me?  ?

Weddings must be very different in your part of the world to mine.

Does that happen before or after the sacrifice of the chief bridesmaid?
