asami
I was trying to install Cakewalk and opened BandLab Assistant, but I don't see the "Apps" button, instead there is a "Mastering" button. Does anyone know how to install Cakewalk in this case?

Create an account here: (If you have not done so already) https://www.bandlab.com/sign-up Then use the Cakewalk Product Center to install. Note: Bandlab Assistant is no longer used to install Cakewalk by Bandlab.

Does anyone know how to install Cakewalk in this case? I've just updated Bandlab Assistant, and after logging in I can see four tabs across the top: Library, Sounds, Mastering, and Apps. "Mastering" seems to be new.

0 Jaga
Quote Create an account here: (If you have not done so already) There were no info that I don't have an account. Of course I have it since previously I used it. Please note, that there are plenty of places in documentation that Bandlab Assistant is needed to install Cakewalk Bandlab. I got the following reply which is helpful from the support: Quote Hi Alex, Thanks for writing, and apologies for the trouble! Please follow the link below to install the latest version of Cakewalk by BandLab: https://downloads.bandlab.com/cakewalk/setup/CakewalkSetup.exe This version will activate and provide updates directly within the program itself, so you will not need to use BandLab Assistant moving forward. Simply follow the link to get the latest version! After, right-click the desktop icon and choose Run as Administrator, and enter your BandLab credentials when prompted. This will activate the program for six months. At that point you can simply reactivate, or the program will reactivate as you update (we release updates every other month or so). Let us know if you have any trouble installing, or have any questions from here. So, now the official way to install it is to download from the link: https://downloads.bandlab.com/cakewalk/setup/CakewalkSetup.exe
