Peter Hintze
Hi, can anyone tell me how to create a TEMPO TRACK based on a take recorded without metronome. In other words, i want to adjust the tempo (and all changes) of the project based on the recording i made. Thank you very much. Peter
John Vere
There’s another thread with same question First thing you should always do is Enter your question to Google. But there’s 2 ways First is drag the audio to the timeline and melodyne will try and create a tempo map. Second is audio snap. There’s lots of tutorials on the subject. My favourite is the one by Mike of Creative Sauce

Base 57
Use "Set Measure/Beat at now" which is in the "Project" menu. If your music is syncopated at all, doing this manually is going to get better results. Keep in mind that CbB doesn't have negative measures so if your downbeat is not at the very beginning of the project you should mark the first downbeat as measure 2 (or 3 or 4 ...).
