drum pane text

I have a problem with legibility of the drum pane text description . I'v e tried adjusting the colors in preferences but have so far not been able to find the right parameters. White text on a light grey background are just about illegible to me (not the best eyesight) but notes/velocity is clearly visible with its text/background combination. How can the colors for the note description text and/or background be changed?

You would need to use the theme editor which allows custom colours.

I'm not sure where you get it from as it was part of Sonar for me. @scook   will know.

Alas, currently these colors can not be changed, not even with the Theme Editor.

Best you can do is increase the vertical zoom and the text gets larger.

Basically no. 
Cakewalk was replaced with Sonar a few years ago and Sonar was a step backwards for custom colours. It was released with very limited options.
