Jim Fogle
It would be nice if BandLab considered adding a forum section where forum members could share Articulation Maps, Drum Maps, INS and CAL files. I believe creating a depository would greatly enhance the Cakewalk by BandLab user experience and help drive new forum membership as search engines would point to each depository sub-section. Perhaps BandLab can label the main forum section "Add-Ons" with a sub-section devoted specifically for each type of add-on. For example there would be a sub section for Articulation Maps, another for Drum Maps, INS files and so on. Then, as forum members create add-on files, they could post the file to the appropriate sub-section along with a short description of the file's purpose. They could say for example, "Here is an articulation map for v 1.3 of the VST plug-in, Spicy Guitar." solarlux
Very good idea and people can be involved to share stuff. : ) For example articulation map for Sitala vst and so on : ) And also CAL scripts share will be good and maybe more people will trying develop own scripts. Also for pattern files of rythms in step sequencer and also midi files : ) Edited January 20, 2021 by solarlux
scook
A fine idea that may be outside their budget but that should not stop any enterprising individuals from setting up their own share(s), even if just as a temporary measure until the resources get allocated to the project. CAL has been deprecated for almost 21 years. Don't expect much from Band:Lab on this subject. AFAIK Sitata has no need for articulation maps and the most recent release makes drum maps redundant by implementing the VST2.1 effGetMidiKeyName opcode. Something every drum synth developer needs to do. 2

This can later be integrated into the DAW, like Exchange is in Studio One. Presets, FX Chains, Track Templates, Project Templates, Articulation Maps, Drum Maps, CAL Scripts... There is a lot that can go there ? Edited January 21, 2021 by Maestro

If that would be posibble we all comunity would invest some time to make some additional features : ) Edited January 21, 2021 by solarlux
