garybrun Posted January 15, 2021 Posted January 15, 2021 Don't know what it about your music... but I do love it. Its funk and jazz all mixed up. Years ago I mixed a band from America here in Norway while they where on tour. Mr Thing and the Human Beings! Now that was funky stuff!!!
KSband Posted January 15, 2021 Posted January 15, 2021 Very cool tune, love the fusion! More great playing, piano is really nice, sax and guitar too of course. Are you guys pros, making a living off of your music? Gotta be tough now for working musicians. 1

Hi kurt, I write for fun, love it..These are all internet collabs with pro musicians but not a band.. I've never met these guys in person. I give them each their own backing file & a chart, they send me back their wav files.. Bill the bass player has been doing tracks for me the longest, since 2000.. Love the drums on this. Which instrument(s) are you again?
KSband Posted January 15, 2021 Posted January 15, 2021 That's amazing, I've been picturing you guys as a gigging band.

DeeringAmps Posted January 25, 2021 Posted January 25, 2021 (edited) I've commented on your sexy sax player numerous times. Love that "button tight" finale! t Oh, and I would be remiss if I did not mention, once again, you knocked it out of the park with your guitar playing.... Guest Posted January 26, 2021 Posted January 26, 2021 That's no easy riff to solo over - very impressive chops on guitar and generally all round (love the driving bass track and the sax too). Ending was top drawer! Andy
SUPAREELS Posted January 26, 2021 Posted January 26, 2021 Just waiting for the film to start ... Utmost respect to you .. from Mr Gushy ? Steve 1

Hidden Symmetry Posted January 27, 2021 Author Posted January 27, 2021 Thanks Grebz, glad you enjoyed the track.
Wookiee Posted January 27, 2021 Posted January 27, 2021 Your bass player has really got his funk on along with the guy providing the back beat on the kit, nice bit of funk jazz groove with some interesting horn, keys and guitars generally funking it up in jazzy way over the top. Comments based on version 1.
Starise Posted January 27, 2021 Posted January 27, 2021 Reminiscent of Steely Dan to my ears. Gas Lighting Abbie comes to mind among others. Must have been a lot of fun putting it together with the other guys. Great sound on my buds. The busy bass foundation under those jazz chords with that rhythm are a wonderful combination!
