I think so too... the kick seems more pronounced and tight and I thought I could hear it in the toms and more shine. That bass is so funky!!! Yeh! Edited January 8, 2021 by garybrun

Hidden Symmetry Posted January 8, 2021 Author Posted January 8, 2021 Here's one more with the drums very slightly eq'd again & before I start doing the final mix.. might have this & the others on the album mastered by someone else as well.
garybrun Posted January 8, 2021 Posted January 8, 2021 (edited) Got me... what changed now? Change in transients and guitar? More ring on the Tom and more sparkle on the snare? I am trying to hear the difference between the too--- past my abilities now. Put me out of my misery. Very nice work. Edited January 8, 2021 by garybrun
Douglas Kirby Posted January 8, 2021 Posted January 8, 2021 That was downright funky - nice job. I liked the mix - clear with depth. That bass solo was awesome - very cool.

Compressed the snare a little more, less reverb and adjusted the levels- that's all, everything else ( mix/ master) is exactly the same. Edited January 8, 2021 by Hidden Symmetry 1

DeeringAmps Posted January 10, 2021 Posted January 10, 2021 That drum breakdown at 1:4? is KILLER, and the bass that follows ?'s! The whole tune, as always, first class... t and I'd be remiss if I didn't mention that kick drum, plenty of oomph and that nice defining top snap. Oh yeah
David Sprouse Posted January 10, 2021 Posted January 10, 2021 All that's missing is bootsy. I love the keyboard in this...playing a little outside the harmony. Really well done.
yukohime Posted January 11, 2021 Posted January 11, 2021 What's a vibrant performance ! I can't hear any digital sound ^^
