I think so too...  the kick seems more pronounced and tight and I thought I could hear it in the toms and more shine.
That bass is so funky!!!  Yeh!

The snare was brought down a bit & re-eq'd plus made a few mix tweaks..

Thanks Gary, everyone seems to prefer the b mix so it's now the  working mix.

Here's one more with the drums very slightly eq'd again & before I start doing the final mix.. might have this & the others on the album mastered by someone else  as well.

Change in transients and guitar?
More ring on the Tom and more sparkle on the snare?

I am trying to hear the difference between the too---  past my abilities now.

Put me out of my misery.

That was downright funky - nice job.  I liked the mix - clear with depth.

That bass solo was awesome - very cool.

Compressed the snare a little more, less reverb and adjusted the levels- that's all, everything else ( mix/ master) is exactly the same.
