Jack Stoner Posted March 9, 2019 Posted March 9, 2019 (edited) At 81 I've decided to close my home recording studio. I don't know what the new forum policy is but here is a link to what I'm selling. Jack Edited March 9, 2019 by Jack Stoner
craigb Posted March 9, 2019 Posted March 9, 2019 What the heck do you expect to do for the next 20+ years then??? ?
msmcleod Posted March 9, 2019 Posted March 9, 2019 I can see my dad giving up on his guitars & gear soon. He was a fantastic Chet Atkins fingerstyle player, but at 78 the arthritis in his hands makes it almost impossible to even play certain chords. I can tell it frustrates and depresses him. Amazingly, he does still gig, and tries to adapt his playing accordingly. But I can see the day coming soon where his guitar in the corner will just be a painful reminder of what he can no longer do.
Bapu Posted March 9, 2019 Posted March 9, 2019 When/if I hang it up, my children will inherit some nice stuff. Assuming I don't need the cash for medical bills that is. 1
Jack Stoner Posted March 10, 2019 Author Posted March 10, 2019 I'm still playing Pedal Steel Guitar in a weekly show and at Cowboy Church. Just giving up the studio. 2
