Wookiee Posted October 6, 2020 Posted October 6, 2020 Something that just sorted materialised and then would not go away.In Circles Custom Built Les Paul through Guitar Rig 5 Pro (no not 6 yet might might not) and an Arturia FX you would use Phaser. Hidden Symmetry Posted October 7, 2020 Posted October 7, 2020 Nice one, the synth sounds reminded me of Michael Cotten. 1
Wookiee Posted October 7, 2020 Author Posted October 7, 2020 @Hidden Symmetry Thank you sir, not heard of him but listening now, the lead voice is just the filter on the D-72 self oscillating with a tiny tiny tiny bit of one oscillator mixed in.
Hidden Symmetry Posted October 7, 2020 Posted October 7, 2020 Not that you care but Michael was the synth player in one of my fav. bands The Tubes..Interesting artist, after he left the band he got into in stage design. https://www.mcotten.com/michael-cotten-biography Anyway as soon as I heard to track it reminded me of his synth work...carry on 1
David Sprouse Posted October 7, 2020 Posted October 7, 2020 This reminds of something danny elfman might write if he were to do this type of thing. Really enjoyable, and humorous. HS thanks for the info on Michael Cotten. 1
Kevin Walsh Posted October 7, 2020 Posted October 7, 2020 Great mix and a cool arrangement, I really enjoyed this one. I didn't hear the LP, but. I'm on the road and listening through these crappy Walmart buds so that may be why. Its a great road tune though. ? 1

Many thanks for taking the time to have a listen and comment.

But that doesn't detract from the track. Well done Wooks, and thanks for the Legacy of Rock and EZB demo... t oh, and I would be remiss if I didn't add; "a baby's arm holding an apple" Edited October 10, 2020 by DeeringAmps spelling 1
daryl1968 Posted October 9, 2020 Posted October 9, 2020 fab sounds as ever Wookster - the main theme sound is brilliant and somewhat comical - in a good way 1

Douglas Kirby Posted October 9, 2020 Posted October 9, 2020 Very creative - the beat has some giddy-up to it - and that lead synth was very wild. Regarding the mix - I thought the bass should come up a bit. Enjoyed the listen - cheers. 1

Here is the chain Guitar Rig 5 Pro with AC Box and Matched Cabinet and some vintage Verb, into AudioThing's Outerspace Distant Sea Preset (Tweaked this is an emulation of the Roland Space Echo) then into Arturia's Flanger BL-20 Fast Mod again Tweaked. Now perhaps if you want to listen you might have an idea what you are listening for, squeaky bubbles I would say describes it. Thanks for the ears and comment you are most kind.
