Banditos
Hello everybody I am very new to cakewalk and as I started to use I had some questions. 1 can I set the mouse wheel to scroll the timeline and piano roll horizontally by default? I use much much more horizontal scroll then vertical so it could be the default. (I edit video in Premiere and it does like this so I got used to that it is very fast.) 2 can I change only one instrument in the drum kit? so change only the snare in a kit to another snare? Or just create another sl drum and cut paste only the snare to that track. Thank you Edited August 25, 2020 by Banditos
John Vere
SI drums is a very basic VST I don't personally know how to change individual kit pieces. You can certainly do this is most 3rd party drum VST's. It's a freebie so along with that comes limitations.
lapasoa
In Cakewalk you have XLN Addictive Drums much more enjoyable and usable than SI drums.
scook
1. not in the program 2. SI-Drums does not have a convenient way to mix samples from different kits. One could load a couple of instances of the plug-in and route the data as desired either by breaking out the data into multiple tracks or using a drum map.
