lapasoa Posted July 9, 2020 Posted July 9, 2020 For sometime Breverb2 Cakewalkk was malfunctioning. To day this message appeared: "Installation corrupted! The database of factory presets is missing. Run the installer again to fix the problem". Where can I find the Breverb2 Cakewak installer?
scook Posted July 9, 2020 Posted July 9, 2020 It is in the full CbB installer The easiest way to get the full installer is uninstall CbB using BandLab Assistant The BREVERB 2 Cakewalk factory presets database is in C:\ProgramData\Overloud\BREVERB 2 Cakewalk I am not sure if that folder is deleted during the uninstall. If it is left behind may want to rename it to insure a new folder and contents get installed. NOTE: C:\ProgramData is a hidden folder.
HIBI Posted July 9, 2020 Posted July 9, 2020 @scook I got the same error, but there seems to be presets and I can choose in BREVERB 2 Cakewalk UI.C:\ProgramData\Overloud\BREVERB 2 Cakewalk is empty. BREVERB 2 maybe loads presets from %AppData%\Roaming\Overloud\BREVERB 2 Cakewalk ???
scook Posted July 10, 2020 Posted July 10, 2020 May want to rename the appdata folder too before re-installing
Marc Keefer Posted February 8, 2021 Posted February 8, 2021 I had this same issue and discovered the factory presets db (file name: factory-presets.db) was missing from this folder: C:\ProgramData\Overloud\BREVERB 2 Cakewalk I found the database file on a secondary machine and copied it to that same folder on the PC having this issue and it fixed my problem. I've attached the factory presets file to this post. factory-presets.db
