jm52 Posted April 23, 2020 Posted April 23, 2020 (edited) Andrew Scheps vocal mix chain Any ideas ideas how to do this in CW? Edited April 23, 2020 by jm52 1
Nigel Mackay Posted May 7, 2020 Posted May 7, 2020 Which DAW you use is irrelevant. You need (any) Pultec EQ -> (any) LA-2A type compressor that has the frequency adjust knob at the bottom -> (any) Pulteq EQ. Cakewalk doesn't come with any of them. I can tell you that the T-Racks LA-2A doesn't have that knob, neither does the Overload Gem Comp LA. The Waves one does.
Xoo Posted May 7, 2020 Posted May 7, 2020 If you have your old SONAR Platinum installed, the Nomad Factory comes with a suitable PulTec emulator (Program EQ) and the CA-2A Leveler may get you close (there's no frequency knob, but it may be good enough).

The CA-2A's frequency control is between the Limit/Compress and the Gain knob: 1
