bjornpdx Posted April 19, 2020 Posted April 19, 2020 If Time is money then I'm a millionaire. My virus song. I couldn't sing or even narrate the lyrics so I'm leaving it up to you - karaoke style! 3
David Sprouse Posted April 19, 2020 Posted April 19, 2020 Time isn't money because people aren't assets (anymore) I love your frisky sense of humor. 1
Douglas Kirby Posted April 21, 2020 Posted April 21, 2020 I really enjoyed the lead guitar one this one. I think you should have done a vocal on it, but it's your tune. By the way I liked the lyrics. 1
Jerry Gerber Posted April 30, 2020 Posted April 30, 2020 (edited) The saying "Time is Money" never made any sense to me. The huge difference between them is that money can be replaced. Time cannot. Edited April 30, 2020 by jsg 1
bjornpdx Posted April 30, 2020 Author Posted April 30, 2020 jsg - Generally accepted meaning of the saying is: efficient use of time -> more productivity -> more money earned I always thought it meant that time is valuable, so you shouldn't waste it like watching one video after another on YouTube all afternoon. David, Doug, Tom Thanks for listening and commenting. 1

David, Doug, Tom Thanks for listening and commenting. I know, of course time is valuable and should not be wasted. And the generally accepted meaning you gave is right. But still, from my perspective one can be replaced, the other cannot, so for me personally time is more valuable because while money can be gained and lost, time only moves in one direction...
Wookiee Posted May 7, 2020 Posted May 7, 2020 Unfortunately Vimeo does not seem to want to play nice @bjornpdx, but hey if I can make noises that might be vaguely cause signing I know you can. I will try again later see if it want to play nice thne. 1
PhonoBrainer Posted May 7, 2020 Posted May 7, 2020 Indeed, having heard your voice, I conjured it in my head whilst I was reading, and it works! But I'd also vote for your real vocals if you can, but if not it's a fun little adventure as is. -Tom 1
bjornpdx Posted May 8, 2020 Author Posted May 8, 2020 Wookie, thanks for at least trying to listen/watch my video. Tom, I tried to sing but the range of notes was beyond me, even after changing the key a couple of times. It's times like this when you appreciate a good voice. There's a saying "It's the singer, not the song" which I never understood, but I do now. 1
