Amazing list, but clearly missing a few well known top tier free options Fxpansion DCAM Free Comp Jamstix - free version come to mind as examples, but way more stuff on that list that I didn't know about.

Not the most comprehensive list but it's well laid out and organized. Many staples with a few lesser known gems as well. A nice starting point for newbies or those vets looking to expand their arsenal. Edited December 30, 2019 by Lemar Sain 2
Starship Krupa
What a great resource! There are also these two ongoing threads in the Instruments and Effects subforum, they're both on the first page right now. I've lobbied for stickiedom, nothing yet, so they rely on bumps. Between them over 11,000 views so I hope they've been helpful. They're a tiny bit different from this 400 list, as everything in them is vetted by someone who's used them with Cakewalk so we know they're compatible on at least one user's system!: Edited May 15, 2020 by Starship Krupa 1

Personally miss some information about supported platform (Win32, Win64, AU,...). It will save a time during searching.
Bajan Blue
Lemar What a great and useful list - thanks for posting. There are some very good products on the list - this will be especially useful for people just starting I think. Nigel

Last Call
Even though it's been updated to this year, I found it kind of a disappointment: I just realized with it Lepou guitar plugins are dead. More so... the blog is DEAD. Wow, after lots of years put into those by the dev, suddenly it went caput! Insult to injury: AU versions, at least, don't work on Macos Moneterey, at least not on my M1 Macbook air. because, you know, silicon chips (and the developer can't be identified or something like that). And I am not going through a massive list to see what works and what not X) Edit: IGNITE Emissary bundle works great on M1 Macs! ? X-53mph
Interesting list, but not a single de-esser in it. I'd love to know of a good free de-esser. Edited April 7, 2022 by Philip G Hunt

The ToneBoosters legacy de-esser is excellent among other plugins in these "legacy" freebies. Bottom of this page.... https://www.toneboosters.com/support.html Waves Sibilance has been given away a fe times and is pretty good. Doesn't help now if you don't have it, but maybe it'll come around again? You can probably find more in Starship's freebies thread above too. An excellent a FREE dynamic EQ which of course can do de-esser duties. 1
