  1. Total Studio MAX works exactly like Komplete Ultimate does. Buying Komplete Ultimate 12 doesn’t mean you get everything NI releases for all time. Total Studio MAX 3 will include SampleTank 4, Syntronik Deluxe and maybe everything they’ve released up until then. There’s a huge difference though. You can resell NI libraries, so you don’t pay as big a price for being impatient Not so with IK. I’m waiting for TSM3 to come out and go on sale. It may be a very long wait.
  2. There's not much to this library. MMM pad. Melody Maker (Ho-Ho-Ho). 3 volumes of Shouts (Hey!) but if you're looking for a certain indie/rock/folk sound, you can get it instantly with this. I don't know if it's worth $47, but $20... Get it HERE
  3. This is a 3 day only sale and ends Friday, 6/7 at midnight PST. Red Room Audio is apparently going to follow this with flash sales on the 3 other volumes in the Palette series.
  4. A Pandeiro, Tamborim, and Cuica. Get them HERE If you don't know Muletone Audio, they are the only developer I know based in Brazil. There are a lot of libraries with Brazilian instruments and some have snazzier interfaces, but to me, they are the best for sound. I purchased their Surdo, Tam Tams, Agogo, and Pandeiro libraries. They are simple libraries but very well recorded. I have no idea why they are giving these great libraries away. Maybe to get people interested in the other stuff they make? They are all very inexpensive anyway and often are deeply discounted. They are available from their site or on Kontakt Hub. There are a lot of great freebies on VSTBuzz, if you didn't know.
  5. I'm not seeing CE at the same price on T+S. I see upgrade to K12U for $173 and upgrade to K12U CE for $259. You don't have to install any of the Komplete instruments that you don't want. If you can get it for the same price, there is no reason not to get it. I did not buy KU12 CE when it came out because I definitely have better orchestral libraries. But I DO want the Sonuscore Percussion library that comes with it. It's $99.50 now on the NI site. I'll be waiting to see if it turns up anywhere else for less.
  6. To summarize: You don't need a dongle or an iLok account on your computer to install this. Once you buy another product at PluginBoutique, the Proximity EQ serial number will be in your account, along with a download link. Just install and start the plugin in your DAW. It will ask for the serial, you paste it in and you are good to go. Sonible just offers the option of using iLok, if that is of benefit to you.
  7. Usually, I'm too broke by the time the OTS Summer Group buy comes along to take advantage of it, but this year I'm saving up for it. It's one of the best deals every year.
  8. Upgrade from Synthmaster Player to Synthmaster for $24.50 That's the lowest I've seen this particular upgrade, and I'm always looking. However... Some time ago, when I only used to come to Larry's forum occasionally, he posted a crazy deal for Synthmaster for something like $10. I think it was at Guitar Center. I missed it, and since then, I started coming to Larry's forum every day, and usually, more than once.
  9. Agree 100% with this. I constantly use guitar libraries in my music, but never, never use these. And I have really tried. Sounds on the Sunbird and GD-6 are good, but I find the interface completely unusable. The Telematic doesn't even sound good. If they were the only guitar libraries in the world, I could find a way to play them, but there are others that are fun to play. Buy a library or two from indiginus or wait for the next Orange Trees Samples group buy, which happened last year in late June. I also like Amplesound. They have two great freebies, an acoustic guitar and an electric bass. The ample acoustic guitar freebie is better than any of these. Ilya Efimov makes good guitar libraries too.
  10. The Richard Devine Sound Design Plugin Bundle includes Abstractions and Harmonic Geometry is free with any purchase at Time+Space. This deal was up before so many of you have already taken advantage of it. Otherwise, get it HERE. If you have them already, AAS will let you trade them in for something else.
  11. Very similar to Arturia in sales strategy. as I own Digital Synsations (which they just gave away free), so I can get 19 synths for $299, which is nuts. Similar to my first purchase of the V Collection for $200. But the upgrades are expensive, relative to price. They've only come out with a few new things since Vintage Vault 2: USQ-1, String Machines 2, and PX V8 (Voyetra Eight), so it may be a while before VV3 comes out. Great deal and hard to resist, but I don't really think I've fully explored all my Arturia, Syntronik, Synth Anthology 2, not to mention Key Suite Digital. I still want it, though.
  12. Fond memories of last year. $20 for Synthmaster One $20 for AAS Objeq Delay
  13. If you're looking for free photos, there are a lot of sites, and you can find lists on Google like this one My favorites are Unsplash, Gratisography, and the amazing Pixabay. But there is a particularly cool site called LibreStock , which is a search engine through most of the top sites. I don't think it's comprehensive, it's more of a "best of," but it is a real time-saver
  14. @jude77These websites have a lot of design freebies. Like Creative Market, most of them have paid stuff too. There are dozens and dozens more sites like this, but this gives you an idea. Freepik Mighty Deals Dealjumbo Graphic Burger The Hungry JPG Designer Candies WeGraphics Design Panoply Pixeden PSD Dude Designious
  15. There are tens of thousands of first-rate freebies available for graphic design--fonts, photos, videos, backgrounds, web layouts, mockups, vectors, Photoshop brushes and actions, etc. One of the best examples is Creative Market. If you register there, they send you six great products every Monday. Expensive stuff. In some cases you will need products like Photoshop and Illustrator to use them, but not all. If people are interested in this I can dig around and look for some of my old links. I don't do much graphic design these days.
  16. It's not a glitch. You get these when you spend a certain amount with ISW, whether it's in real money or through a deal. I also got them through a previous APD.
  17. Don't worry, very good deals come along often on SAS, and they'll be posted here.
  18. I try never to get any new plugins unless they add something really different from what I'm using now. But I demoed this and I thought it was really unique. It's like a channel strip, or multi-effects unit--but only for string instruments, like guitars, cellos, violins mandolins, etc. The $19 one is just presets. I know I will be reaching for it whenever I use those kinds of sound, and I use a lot of world instruments. I imagine it would work great on plucky or bowed-sounding synth sounds too. You can download the demo here. You get the Pro version, but the presets are the same.
  19. Also, its big brother Audified Acoustic Pro is now $49 (from $89) It has a ton more controls, but the same number of presets, 118.
  20. You may know SAS from their very beautiful and reasonably priced instruments MOUNTAINS, RESONA, AUTUMN CHOIRS, and TALUA. My favorite is MOUNTAINS, but I just picked up AUTUMN CHOIRS in this sale for $6! (70% off) and now I have all of them. Find out more about them here https://www.sound-aesthetics-sampling.com/products/ Their sale works like this: They added three coupon codes with different discount amounts to their website. The first two with bigger discounts are limited to a certain number of uses, the third isn't. They all expire on June 1st. SAS also created some bundles, which are only available during this promotion and the coupons can be used on them as well. SPRING_SAS_70 (limited to 15 uses) SPRING_SAS_55 (limited to 30 uses) SPRING_SAS_40 (unlimited) If you want to directly check the shop click on the link below: https://sasampling.onfastspring.com/
  21. The only problem with Regroover Essential is that it will make you want to upgrade to the full version of Regroover. ?
  22. I recently purchased this and I highly recommend it. Not a lot of presets but most are really beautiful. You might get more presets from something else, but this has the stuff that would be your favorites and you would use. And the UI is simple and to my mind beautiful, very similar to LABS. It would have been nice to get it for free but I like to support small developers.
  23. I bought the Piccolo for $18 in December and the English Horn for $28 in February I got the Alto Flute at a discount - I think it was $18 And they have raised the list price on the solo instruments from $98 to $138. But they are good instruments for virtuoso out-front playing. Worth $38 for sure.
