I can't find my post from before, so I thought I would tell anybody who is interested that I am compiling the links to BF sales alphabetically, and to a certain extent, in categories. Picked up the 75% off deal on SOLID 2 at Plugin Boutique that Larry put up here. Thank you for that, Larry! I never had much interest in ujam drums (I am married to AD), but they are fun with the basses and guitars. The guitar I never see mentioned much is the nylon one, SILK. In addition to sounding beautiful, it's the only one that lets you play different bass notes, which adds a lot.

As many of you already know, AudioDeluxe has started offering a loyalty program. Has this been going on for a while and I just didn't notice it? I tend to go straight to JRRShop, because they have given me some extraordinary service in the past, so I'm grateful. Anyway, this makes everything more complicated for me than before. I don't know about you, but I always used to shop for price in the US, and then when something was available everywhere for the same price, I'd pick up loyalty points from Best Service, Time+Space, or Musician's Friend. For Best Service Forest Kingdom II ($154.40) AudioDeluxe offers $15.54 worth of store credit. That's 10%! But they don't give DeluxeBucks for everything. Best Service is 5%. Time+Space is $6 off per 1000 points, which can be a smidge more than Best Service in some cases. So AudioDeluxe would seem to win this one with their 10% discount, except that Time+Space sells Forest Kingdom II for $147.63, the only store I've found that discounts Best Service. So it gets really close. I'm just passing this along, because this is the place where everybody checks both FORUM and GROUP to see if they can save another buck or two. ? EDIT: Audio Deluxe ended up winning because Time+Space is having problems with their loyalty points now. I couldn't use my old ones.

After I got the free IRON, I started downloading demos of the basses. They are really fun, even just for jamming. They work beautifully with the ujam guitars. This 50% sale, with JRR discounts is on my BF list for sure.

I love AAS but I'm a little disappointed by this sale. I have everything they sell except for the two upgrades and Lounge Lizard. I didn't buy the upgrades because I was waiting for BF. The price to complete my bundle before this sale was $99 and now it is $99. They didn't discount it one cent. But they are a great company, so I will call and maybe they will work something out for me, as I am a pretty good customer. I have paid full price for many expansions they handed out like bubble gum later on. They tend to be unyielding about their upgrade prices though. Don't forget that if you write them, they should allow you to swap any duplicate libraries you have for the new ones.

I'm unfamiliar with this company. How do their MIDI drum patterns compare to Groove Monkee's? It looks like they aren't formatted especially for drum programs.

It's interesting that this is included in Vintage Vault 2. Was Kroma 1 in there before? When they came out with String Machines 2, they didn't but it in VV2. I wonder when VV3 will come out? They've added PX V8, String Machines 2, USQ-1, PX P10, UVX670, and FM Suite since then. It's getting to be quite a collection on UVI.

I actually understood that. I vote that I was also (trying and obviously failing) to be funny, as the movie genre is "film noir" and not "filme noire" ? When Noire came out I posted in VI:Control that I was going to ask NI if I could just buy the "e" because I already owned "Noir." But I stand by my original statement that "Noire" is very noice. It's one of my very favorite virtual instruments that NI has come out with over the last few years, along with Massive X and Middle Eastern Discovery. But I'm looking forward to picking up "Picked Acoustic." Anybody else buying separate NI libraries because they suspect the next Komplete will be subscription?

I was kidding. They are the same and it is nuts. Methinks that BOOM used to be something like $99 and then the crossgrade made sense. But they reduced BOOM to $4.99 and didn't change the other thing. But this is par for the course for the way AIR and SONiVOX (owned by the same company) products are sold. Prices all over the place.

BOOM is now available at Plugin Boutique for $4.99. However, if you have Pro Tools or other qualifying software, you are eligible to buy BOOM for the special price of $49.99. Buy or crossgrade HERE Knowing AIR though, this may be your last chance to get it for $4.99. Plugin Boutique is likely to offer it for free at some point.
