Ok, now this is obscure! I just realized that I know the girl on the right-side of that picture! Her name is Bethany, the new General Manager for a very
pretentiousupscale restaurant in downtown Portland (and one of our clients). The purse and shoes confirm it. Small world!I'll have some fun with this the next time I see her! ?
craigb (if that's your real name),
That was the entire purpose of the photo. ?

Speaking of Straummy, we watched the show Marcella and she emerged from the tube at "Joe Strummer Subway". Me thought of me old mucker Steve and chortled (like I do at his jokes)

When the vocal is doubletracked , I'm hearing something in the upper mids that pokes through a little too much. Might be worth a look. He has a good voice actually, just hearing something strident in the vocal that could be knocked down easily with eq. That Soothe plugin, if you have it, would do the trick.
That niggle aside, excellent job one and all!
cheers,

I'll take a listen to your obs on the remix Tom. Thnks for the input.

Dynamite job on this very cool rocker, Ed! Everybody really did a super job on the instrumental performances, I really liked the keyboards at around 1:07 and 2:08, the vocals were really well done, and I loved the guitar solo work. Your well constructed bass lines sounded great and fit perfectly with Hugo's classy drum work, and the mix sounds clean and punchy.?
Really nice work, Ed, and seriously, it's great to see you back around and posting again! And, if you happen to speak to my friend James G, please give him my regards and tell him that I said hello!?
Have a good one, buddy!
BobThanks for the words of encouragement Bob. Have a Merry Christmas.

As I've said before X-Ray and I played together in two different bands going back as far as 45 years ago. It's nice to reconnect with him.

VST scan stalls on UAD Chandler Limited Zener Limiter for over 20 minutes now.
No other messages, popups or hidden behind Cakewalk dialogs.
[SOLVED] I did solve the problem. It came down to operator error on my latest UAD update.
