  1. That's a great compressor and a no-brainer price.
  2. And why pray tell did you not tell the bot just that in your initial appeal contact? Oh yeah, they would have replied, now you're (possibly/probably) in violation of our copyright infringement standards.
  3. I don't have any unused vouchers. Right now (except the AMEK console) I'm not in any major need/want of anything else from PA. Except..... The things I will look for now from PA are extra sweet deals on the native versions of some UAD plugs that I don't own ((Vertigo Sound VSC-2 Compressor, Vertigo Sound VSM-3 Mix Satellite, elysia mpressor & bx_subsynth). With UAD I'm at that full bundle status where I am have a seemingly perpetually 50% discount on most everything that I don't own with them. So, if I ever really need one of those "don't own" items I can always get it at 50% off (which for UAD is pretty good for a year round discount).
  4. If you sometimes chain EQ->COMP and sometimes chain COMP->EQ, when and why?
  5. Or maybe I'll just get these: ?
  6. For me the $349.97 price tag at Amazon is less than what I pad for my HD600s ($399 at Sweetwater) but a bit pricier than my HD6xx (650s, $229 from Massdrop). I might just pick the AKG 712 and do a deep dive comparison between those and my HD600s and HD650s. I can always return the 712s if I don't see any gret difference than the Sennheiser's.
  7. Update: I forgot to mention in my OP that I also have (from the mid 80s, and still working) 2 each AKG K240 and 1 AKG K270. I have since added Status CD1, Slate's headphone system and a Massdrop HD-6xx (650s).
  8. A carpenter typically has hundreds of tools. On any given job the carpenter may only use no more than a dozen. Of that dozen the carpenter probably uses around 3-5 tools all the time. The remaining tools are there for the one-off type of encounters the carpenter may run into. And for those tools the carpenter has the knowledge of what, when and why to use them. Based on that: I'd be good to go if I only knew how to use all my tools.
  9. Oh my eyes cannot unsee that image.
  10. No one taught me to play bass. Prolly 'splains a lot.??
  11. Which may likely break any backward compatibility. I'm locked down on a 2012 Mac Pro (12 Core 3.4GHz, 128GB Ram, SSD boot, 8, 4 and 4 GB internal drives) with Catalina and don't see myself going for an M1 anytime soon. Right now on my Mac I cannot upgrade MODO drum to 1.1.3 (from 1.1.1) since I'm on Zenon CPU's and they don't make the grade.
  12. I played with a guy who always played that way. But his E and Am chord configuration was the same as mine. Example: open E chord Index Finger = G string first fret Middle Finger = D string second fret Third Finger = A string second fret What's even weirder is that I also play bar chords like too. He was the only guitar player who I ever met who played chords like I did.
  13. Hmmm I have Reason 11 and have yet to try it out.
  14. Might as well get it now at this intro price?
  15. For me there was a stupid pop-up ad that made me have to scroll down to read the article. Charlie Watts His Legacy Can Actually Be Summed Up With 3 Words
  16. Just waiting on a $149 flash sale for the AMEK 9099 console ?
  17. In the end $120 for street value of $850 is the best voucher(s) I've had at PA.
  18. Decided to use the final $49.99 coupon for the Focusrite console.
