Here's my Stratocaster SSS. Odd that it's covered by 2 date ranges. I bought it new in 1986 and thus I'm 99.99999999% certain it was not built in 1997-1998.
No, iLoud MTMs are not the basic iLoud. The basic iLoud micro monitors would require ARC 3. Not so with iLod MTMs. They come bundled with a calibration mic. Oddly when I bought a pair (on sale) they both came with a mic.
I was advised by Danny Danzi about this before I bought it way back in the day.
Now I don't have to worry about it since my my iLoud MTMs have ARC imbedded in them and in all my DAWs I build a 'listen' bus that only has SONARWORKS on it. ?
I'm sure you know this but just as a reminder: ARC3 is for listening/mixing, not for export of mixes. Disable ARC3 before exporting unless you setup a listening bus that is not included in your export/mixdown process.
Did I say the StingRay is a beauty?
Tomorrow is my first test recording session. I did a track with the Epi bass and I'm going to do the same track and see if the StingRay gives it more bite.
IT. IS. AAAAA-LIIIIIIIIIIVE.
And she's a beauty. Not a scratch to be found anywhere. Case is in perfect shape too.
It came with an Ernie Ball strap locking system already on a strap.
