Unless they changed that, I say that is a false statement. Early on I erroneously picked a freebie I already owned. Support did sort it out for me though.

Technically I originally had a regular cassette recorder with dolby noise reduction in it, but I cannot remember the brand name. I recorded a few band rehearsals with it.

Entry level but functional. Just dump the onboard sound card.

In four phases: Phase 1 - Prota One Phase 2 - Tascam 308 console, Tascam 80-8/32/Panasonic DAT Phase 3 - Alesis X-2 console, three ADAT Black faces Phase 4 - DAWs galore (oh yean, and some plugins too)
