It runs under Rosetta 2.
I heard/read that Rosetta was on the way out "soon".

Not a Mac user, so sorry for the dumb questions. If something isn't M1 compatible, does that mean it doesn't run whatsoever on an M1 Mac? or that it's not optimised?
And does M1 compatible software work on the new M2 Macs? or is that another update to wait upon?
These questions, and more, are what is causing me to sit on the fence to replace my Mac Pro (early 2012) to an Mac Studio. Please note: the Mac Pro is absolutely not my main computer to work on. I work on a PC.
A) when will Mac Studio become an M2 and can a Mac Studio M1 be a hardware upgrade to M2 if and when?B) why do I even need a Mac Studio when I barely use my Mac Pro?
C) is $5K or more really worth it as a secondary low use computer?

I decided to go for Tai Chi an HD Cart. $106.92 after my three stacked discounts.
So now I have it all except M7 Link (which is useless since I don't own the hardware M7).

I just got Illusion for $53.46 with stacked discounts.

Cinematic Rooms Surround & Atmos Reverb Plugin - AAX, VST, AU - (liquidsonics.com)
Loyalty discount coupons can be applied.
I just use my Loyalty Coupon for Cinematic Rooms Professional for a net price of $187.75. Schweeeet deal I've been waiting for.[EDIT] ?Dang, I could have had it cheaper because I just realized I had 3 discount codes and they can be stacked.

Seriously though my first audio/midi DAW was Cakewalk Pro Audio 4 (can't find an image).
My second (can't remember the name of the first) stand alone MIDI Sequencer was Voyetra Sequence Plus Gold.

things tend to be cordial.
I remember the last NAMM show I attended. While I was waiting to talk with Noel, I was watching him demo the latest "stuff" in CbB to an employee of Avid.

Today's install marks the 400th product I've installed by ToonTrack. Techncally I own 402 products but that includes EZDrummer1 and SuperiorDrummer2 both being decommissioned in favor of EZDrummer2 and SuperiorDrummer3.

I never thought Cakewalk (the company) or any of it's orevious owners owed me anything. I got what I paid for and in the end Saul Goodman.

Maybe they were a bit embarrassed by the loooooooooooooooong delayed release to make any hype about it.
