  1. I started my pc music journey from hardware with soundfonts. Cakewalk Express and a SBLive card. Still use Soundfonts to this day. Here is a free SF2 editor https://www.polyphone-soundfonts.com/ Viena is another free editor. http://www.synthfont.com/index.html Here is one of the few 64bit SF2 player vst's. https://blog.rosseaux.net/page/e5ca75d98990e33b31dadc78a8df1333/Sobanth SFZ+ is great and still works (if you can find a copy) I recently found out that NI Battery can load SF2 files (does a good job too) Many Wusik synths and samplers also support SF2 (currently 80% off)
  2. Try changing this setting in preferences. (see pic attached)
  3. This is the biggest turn off for me. All of their stuff is ridiculously large. Even their FX VST demo is like 5 gigs. Really?... for FX?!? . Especially when you consider the entire Triton Workstation VST (with all expansions) Is less than 300 MB. vs a 6 gig bass DEMO!!!! smh
  4. ProjectSAM's The Free Orchestra is pretty nice too. These 3 are gift's that keep on giving.
  5. I hear 64bit version needs admin mode. I think 64 bit is a 32 bit with build in wrapper. 32 bit version may work better with native wrapper or jbridge. Not sure though..
  6. LOL...SKANKMASTER. ? Name sounds like a broke *****!...guitar sounds nice though.
  7. Actually Loom 2 isn't that old. Couple of years maybe.
  8. I hate to say it....but the crack/ware scene is going get some new traffic soon. Sad part is, from a lot of legit users.
  9. Version one was a little basic for my needs but this new version is a lot more feature rich. Thanks
  10. Yeah...We're all thinking that now...until all the new and shiny 2.0 compatible gear and plugins start showing up . Then BOOM the GAS kicks in. ...and just when you think you've got it under control, CCLarry pops out of the shadows with a ridiculous deal that you can't pass up.... There's no turning back after that. ?
  11. I called it. The free version was just a taste to get you hooked. ..GAS dealer 101 ..LOL!
  12. I think Beatscape and DropZone had real potential. Would have been nice to see them really get fleshed out. As for Momentum there's no Rex support as of yet, No slicing by transients ( my preferred method) Gui text is very small and not resizable and a few other key features seem to be absent. This the 1st iteration so maybe things will improve in the near future.
  13. Not the most comprehensive list but it's well laid out and organized. Many staples with a few lesser known gems as well. A nice starting point for newbies or those vets looking to expand their arsenal.
  14. This might be useful Table of Contents Best Free Amp Simulator VST Best Free Autopanner VST Best Free Bass Instrument VST Best Free Bitcrusher VST Best Free VST Bundle Best Free Chorus VST And so on!.... https://www.idesignsound.com/best-free-vst/
  15. This thing is actually pretty cool. I imagine by the name a Finisher Pro or similar is coming soon.
  16. Pigments 2 ?!? ... Didn't Pigments 1 come out like....yesterday? ?‍♂️

  19. On the old forum AdamGrossmanLG converted the free Grooves from Mars midi to Cakewalk groove templates. The original download file is gone. I was hoping someone here may still have a copy and wouldn't mind sharing it . Original post below. http://forum.cakewalk.com/Free-Download-Groove-Quantize-Templates-m3790204.aspx

You're making the assumption that the code is attached to my account.(it is this time.) But I have also shared the original code that helped me out. But that being said. I've edited the original post. In the end we're all here for the deals right? For the discounts and freebies etc. Most new customers aren't even aware that these codes exist. So if my code, your code or anybodies code can help somebody out, It's all good right? If transparency is paramount though I'll try to be more upfront, not trying to make waves.

I kinda see your point. Except for the it doesn't help the forum part, as the 20% discount is legit and would help any new costumer. The code I used as new customer was some random code on twitter. Which bothered me none as it did provide said discount, which was great for me as well as the original poster. As far as spam, I'm not the original poster and am just trying to add value to current deal. But in the future to avoid issues I will add a disclaimer of sorts. So no problem. ?
