on windows 8 i cannot use last versions , i think V11 or 12 max by the way same goes for UAD , i bougth plugins that i can't use lol last installer is windows 10 only (i can use those on my laptop) Palning on updating windows but i didn't even fisnished the laptop migration (presets , stettings , plugins and samples install ect ..a pure pain)

Told a friend to grab it yesturday ,..83 $ at audio deluxe and you get a fre compressor ( The green one ) at the price of a plugin you get some serious tools , the renaissance , c4 , s1 imager , gtr 3 , electric piano ect ... some great classic here ...

I m testing this Amphub thing since 3 days and it's indeed a great tools for 49 $ ...still not clear what we get from start (prepetual licence)

Still one of the most underated synth imho ....

Very few things are clean in PA catalogue to be honest .... i tested all the last EQ's people raving aboyt and for serious work i ll stick with the Muse Q or BX didgital anyday .... phase shift relation behavior alone ... the amek are not bad , i like the SPL PQ but in that aspect the phase is a mess , the result i feel (notice i heard first and then decided to check) is that the focus on lows is lost , my kick presence is compromised often ... you will notice until you use a MDWEQ 6 or Sonnox claro or something like the Elysia ...

The beauty bapu is in the detenction freq depenant part , you can talilor were you want dist to taste and evn choose freq ... blakbox has it also but the the ability to have two stage (bands) and simplicity of implementation isnwere it shines ...

THIs on emight be my fav with neold stuff ...

I need the ssl fusion HF compressor , if anybody has a sparse licence , i'll give him a code to get a basically free PA plugin (anything at 27$ , i have a non minimum 25$vaucher so he will pay 2 $ any plugin he wants)

Testing thios one as i type , this might be my first pruchase since months , actually somthing rare and that does a superb job , i can see myself using it from busses (hh , master , drums) to reverbs .. Exellent and safe *

For metal , the stl tones putney ampeg is tuned pretty well .... The neural dsp is also something to really consider ...

Thks JOHN ... @MusicMan the LE version is crap imho the real amp to have is the 800 , at least if you want jazzy to crunch like me , for a metal the LE is ok ....

Been doing prestesfor amplitube 5 and i m quite happy with what i have , looking to minimise use of PA plugins and so looking for alternatives ... never been a fan of gk but when i heard the 800 i was like i simply didn t heard the good one lol... jsut cirious about this one , between the Softube eden , neural dsp darkface , at5 , stl tones , softube bassroom , overloud markbass , i think can have a good sound anyhow lol ...even gtr rig gave me a good sound ... The ampeg official is imho superb but cpu hit is a pain , but if someone want ampeg and just a standalone to play bass , bingo..

Check open gl option , sometime after updates it messes your pref up ..
