Welcome to the Hotel California?

Seems like I need to replace my (much loved) Ultrasone 750's (unless I find a reputable fixer). I spend a lot of DAW time with h-phones, so a comfortable set would be much appreciated. I'll be mostly using it for tracking and some general mixing....would also like it to be compatible with Sonarworks. What are some decent closed back H-phones under $200? (I know, I said decent and under $200 )

Join the club Craig... Although I seem to be excited about Friday, I do have to work tomorrow AM for 5 hrs. Still I'm glad it's the weekend.

Yes indeed Mike, very happy to see you're on the road to recover. My father went through the same procedure and it gave him another 20 years (with diet and exercise). Best wishes mate!!

Good morning Gents!! Another bacon filled Thursday with a splash of coffee.

I also got this sometime back (for $29), but it never has made it to the tracking stage.....especially with TH3, BIAS FX, Amplitube 4 etc....

I haven't heard of Audio Assault's Grind Machine, but for $5 who can argue at this price point? Thanks Piotr for your post.

After reading that list, I instantly sent it to my wife......I may be camping on the couch tonight.

Yes indeed.....much needed. The closest to the green BAT I see is that emoticon 'Great Idea"....(I took the liberty and gave the BAT/GI to all 10 pages)

I opened the L & R headphone to see if anything was broken or loose....everything looked good, so IDK. Yeah, I think I may need a new set...unless, I can find someone (reliable) to fix it.

Wrong thread!

Same here Mr. Fleer!! However, I'm glad to join you guys (again) during my work hours....thanks to my workplace finally catching up to Win10.

Yes, apparently W9 and IE10 have kept me in the dark ages...

I don't think it's the cable as my 750's came with an extra cable (which is brand new) and that also played only in mono. I think it's inside the right channel speaker itself where something has disconnected. I probably will have to take it to an electronics repair shop.... I've tried to listen to music in mono and it totally put me off.....I don't even want to think about plugging in the guitar. There goes that sub-genre... Appreciate all tips and advice....sure does help.

This must be that virtual sax they keep talking about??

Good morning lads, Finally, they installed Win10 on my work PC and can access all these wonderful sites. What did I miss?

Update: I tried using the Wetordry sandpaper and it didn't work. Then I tried my old Line6 Toneport DI box and got the same problem with only the left channel working. I also switched the cable on my Ultrasone 750 H-phones.....same result (only left channel). So, it's NOT my Focusrite box that causing this and seems to be within the right channel on the headphones. Will try to open it up and see if something needs to be soldiered. I love these headphones (even though they're discontinued) and would hate to replace them....hopefully, there's a fix for it.

....and then Bill said 'give me just one more night'?
