I just contacted them on their live chat and got a different answer: ‘The 49-PAK is special to each version release. Some of the content ends up being included in later versions, but not always. The unreleased RealTracks are exclusive to the 49-PAK and are not always added in later versions of the program.’

My upgrade offer is 29$

That would be very lame from them to charge an extra 49$, then to add the content on next year upgrade. Please let us know what they will answer you. The Erhu would be interesting to have, but if the upgrade is enough, maybe I’ll reconsider getting the 49$ Pak.

All other companies are selling similar products for a lot more, either by monthly subscription or with yearly paid updates.

If you’re looking for a better price for first time buyers, you can look on Ebay (musical-progressions seller). For example, new version of BIAB 2023 Pro is 98$. Then you can benefit from the upgrade sale. That’s what I did the first time I got it. And they are endorsed by PG Music, so totally legit.
