    WUP is back

They way they are running their business, Waves and Harmony doesn’t sound natural in the same sentence.
  3. Toontrack always charge for upgrades
  4. I agree with your post after changing just one word.

    WUP is back

Over the years, I paid a big total of 15$ of WUP to upgrade Elements to Elements 2, then they sent me a voucher of the same amount to buy other products, so overall I paid nothing for WUP and all is still working from version 9 to 14.
  6. They should bring everyone's plugins version to 14 for free for this fiasco

  8. If you want CinePiano, you can put Piano bundle to your cart then cinepiano price is 66$
  9. Glitch is back!
  10. I disagree. There’s already competition from other great companies offering both perpetual and subscription services for the plugins. Just look what’s happening right now for streaming services like Netflix, Disney+, etc. There’s competition and people stop subscribing to everything at the same time, so they see a decline of their number of subscribers. So I don’t see someone canceling a 10$ streaming service to spend another 25$ on Waves. There’s a smaller pie on the plugin world, with many birds eating at the same plate.
  11. Like Waves, Dirk is history. No more directly involved in PA
  12. Congratulations for remaining the sole subscriber of Waves
  13. @Fleer Did you really start a petition to bring back WUP? Is that really you?
  14. Their new Studio Verse seems interesting. An AI will scan your track and recommend a chain of mixing among those available from pros and users in their community. Just not worth subscribing for this. At least, since I’m on Windows, all my Waves perpetual plugins should continue to work in their current state in the future.
  15. There is a glitch on the sale. If you put the Everything Bundle in cart, you can checkout with all products around 80$ each in FastSpring. You can delete any product you don’t want and still get that price for any products. For example, Cineperc is around 80$. Cinesamples is aware of the way FastSpring is handling things and doesn’t seem to want to fix it.
  16. Message at beginning of the thread said until 25th. We are the 26th.
  17. They are looking for beta testers for Musio. You get free access to Musio all the time you’re a beta tester https://vi-control.net/community/threads/musio-beta-testers-needed-apply-now.137157/
  18. No. I asked for a quoted for an upgrade to Mercury and for the full Abbey Road. Not sure if he would let me get Abbey Road only at that price.
  19. Nothing to brag about, but I can beat myself.
  20. Koby quoted me 120$, but I'll pass. Already too much stuff.
  21. For your Abbey Road Collection, you can directly send me your serial in private message.
  22. My Windows laughed at your Apple OS compatibility issues all the time.
  23. From Nick Phoenix on VI Control: ‘I wanted to release the whole orchestra at once but we couldn’t quite make it. The rest is coming really soon. But you gotta admit, we did announce and release the strings on the same day! That’s a first. Haha. I don’t get that anyone could have anything negative to say about release dates in this case. The rest is basically done, so those dates they announced are set in stone or it will be earlier. I think you will find this really inspiring. Just from an orchestral perspective, viola da gamba section replaces celli, hardanger fiddle section replaces violins, Flugelhorn section replaces trumpets, Wagner Tuben section and also alpenhorn section replaces French horns, renaissance flutes and Irish Whistles replace flutes, ocarina ensembles replace oboes Etc. Orchestral percussion recorded in wide stereo ensembles of 3. Then there is the baroque and ethnic side of the library with more ensembles of 3. Then there are the braaaaaams!!! Just kidding. But we do have wicked ensembles of strings and brass played in octaves. This is the least original part of the library but it sounds amazing.’
