Nice little jam. I was going for a more mellow vibe with a clear melody (I tend to get a bit muddy sometimes). But suddenly the Edge started to do what it does very well, a bit of industrial beats. So I went with it and made it a section in the track. Fun fact / happy accident: the high drone sound from 2:10 all the way through 5:10 is the MS20 which kept sustaining the note. It wasn't planned but the patch turned out that way and I decided to keep it in. That's the fun of hardware!

One of the best clippers out there. https://kazrog.com/collections/audio-plugins/products/kclip-3 €44,95 I guess that's with discount already off? I don't see a 'from...now..." thing. just the price. No code or anything. Maybe this is already discounted, maybe the campaign hasn't started yet?

You can make different profiles with ARC3. It takes a little while because you have to do the whole measurement process a couple of times, but you could easily make a different profile for every position you would be in. I tried this with my door open and closed. It made some difference but not a lot. I guess it would make a bigger difference when in another position. So I'm going to make another profile for when I'm 1,5 meters away at my synth stand.

It's about to get even better with a new toy I acquired this weekend. It will probably take a couple of weeks to set up. And I take special care of the stereofield since someone here gave me the feedback that it could be improved.

An entire year now! Next week will be a true Sunday jam (meaning, recorded on a Sunday).

After a so called pagan livejam 2 weeks ago in the Heilung style, let's counter with the 'enemy'. Gospel worship melodic techno. Does that exist? Well it does now!
-
Already using it. I have my studio in my very suboptimal living room. I'm not putting up ugly (or less ugly but still nothing to look at) soundproofing.

Take that Korg! They are out there releasing a plethora of stuff, only to be absolutely PULVERIZED by this uppercut of a workstation. Did I mention it's a looker too? ?

Alright, the genre name keeps on growing, I don't really know anymore haha. There not much sticking out so it's more about the thing as a whole. I think I will change it up in the future where I will try to get 1 or 2 elements to be upfront. Just like a proper musician ?

Although not my genre, this was a great listen!

The PPG Wave has been free or very low at some time I believe. The Streichfett is a cool plugin!

New NewFangled Audio (Eventide) Plugin - Recirculate update 1.1.9

Bought it. The Newfangled stuff is top quality and it never hurts to have an extra delay. -
Something a bit different this time, but still in my wheelhouse: I recently discovered the band (collective? family? They don't call themselves a band I think) Heilung and was blown away. It awakened my Germanic DNA and had me raiding villages south of the Rhine. In seriousness, I don't really know what it is, but it is my heritage and it clicked with me on a level I haven't felt before. So I immediately bought tickets to a show and made this Heilung inspired jam (or old Germanic inspired, this means droning instruments layered in octaves, lots of drums and singing, I didn't have the nerve or skill to add throatsinging haha). I made it my own of course, but it came out great imo. Enjoy!

You Americans and your WRONG date notation had me thinking this was a version upgrade ?

Ah right, I meant the KingKorg Neo.

I'm working on a portable setup with some of the Roland Compact AIRA units, the IK Multimedia UNO drum and the Korg NTS-1. But this looks pretty pretty interesting to add. Bit pricey though, not for the unit itself because it looks great, just for my budget on this particular project.

Just like with the Grandstage X, I'm not sure what (besides obviously more polyphony voices) this will actually add to the Minilogue XD.

One of my favorites. I have a plethora of reverbs, but this one nails it pretty much every time.

Haha I'm up, I'm up.

Almost there! I'm close to completing a full year of doing a weekly jam. And this one is a bit special. It's a lot more chill and the vocals give it an extra edge. Yes it's just some lines of Splice, but there is always some stuff going on which make it fit, sadly. Anyway, it's always remarkable how soothing a simple 303 line with some delay and reverb can be. Enjoy!

Thanks! Glad you liked it.

I love my distorted sustained sounds. This time I found a french vocal in Splice which fits very nice! Overall it has a certain dark but melancholy feel to it? Also a bit uplifting. Whatever it is, it was fun to do. I got a comment from a friend that it's more for easy listening because it's still a pretty calm track.

Thanks! Yes to my surprise is was fairly 'clean' (as far as it can be when not using headphones). I think the way I held the mic helped. But when compressing there was some really audible noise, so I had to be careful in processing. Luckily it's the same as the music that is already playing so it kinda blends in. When I didn't use the mic I just gated the signal.
