These plugins, though very old, are time tested and true. Just as the Waves Renaissance plugins are, and have been. Good is good...and will withstand the test of time. I will say that it IS time for Sonnox to update those interfaces though.

Both EZX's are based on the SDX. The EZX's are "way scaled down", and the SDX is EXTENSIVE. So, not really "owning them twice". It's owning a "quick" version, and a COMPLETE version. Think of the EZX's as the "very light" version.

I ended up getting Modo Bass on the $99 deal. When Modo Drums hits that price point I'll probably bite too. BUT, EZ Bass seems to be far more appealing. The ability to pick from preset MIDI to build a song is IDEAL. Modo Bass COMPLETELY missed the game on that. But it does sound good for being such a small footprint, which is one of it's only advantages.

Bias FX has 30 Amps, FX Pro has 60, and FX Elite has 100 amps. They use Celestion Impulses...so most likely all of them contain them, just a matter of "quantity"
