These are ALL a lot of overkill...and require a special motherboard that's expensive (cheapest is about $400) You can do all you need and then some with a Ryzen 5 or 7 Processor, Motherboard, and Ram if you are looking to upgrade. I currently have an AMD Socket AM4 B550 Motherboard, Ryzen 7 3700X Processor, and 16 Gb of DDR4 3200 for less than $525, in my cart at Newegg....that's a good deal for an upgraded system from my FX-8300 EDIT: and my FX-8300 is STILL holding it's own, even after 5 years!
