I am not sure what the holiday is. Halion 6 is apparently available as a crossgrade from  Kontakt / Komplete, Falcon, Machfive, Omnisphere for $125. Does anyone have experience with Halion?

Cubase Pro comes with Halion SE, which is Halion but just "tied" to Cubase...
and it's a very capable VI.  I recommend a few videos to let you know if it's
what you'd be interested in...sale is until Sept 5th.

Does anyone know whether this time it’s a download, not a box?

And is this the lowest it normally goes, King L?

It appears to be a box version Fleer, because it doesn't say "download" but rather
that shipping to store is available.  And this is the lowest I've ever seen it offered
    for...

Anyone else thinning of getting rid of their DAWs in favor of Music Maker EDM Edition.

BTW I like that MP3 program.  I found some Goth radio stations.

I've already listed my DAW's on KVR...with Music Maker, I don't need anything
    else!

What is wrong with Acid Pro 8?  I have Acid Pro 7, and it seems like a good deal to upgrade and get 64 bit for $25.   Not to mention SF Pro  12.

Not a thing.  I'll probably be installing it.  The rest of the stuff I really don't care about!

I doubt I would use the rest of the bundle, but $25 to upgrade from Sound Forge Pro 11 to 12 seems pretty reasonable, and puts me only one version behind.

    Thanks for the tip.

That's how I've been playing this game.  Seems the old version always comes up on
    this...Vegas 16 is next...

Eeeeeeeverybody is going subscription nowadays. Loopcloud just went sub based Monday. Even companies with limited content are trying to jump on the bandwagon. Not a fan.

Me either....I have ONE, the Slate All Access...that's the ONLY one I'll ever have!
And now that S-Gear isn't a part of it, It's really not high on my priority list. However,
TH-U Slate is decent enough...that that may keep me on....IDK

  10. I bit just for SF Pro 12...the rest I could care less about, but I knew
it would be offered on this, and $25 is cheaper than $199!  Acid Pro
8 also, since I'm on 7, but no biggie.  I would have just bought SF Pro 12
if that was the only thing offered.

  11. FLUID SHORTS II
Aggressive Chamber String Shorts with Repetitions

AVAILABLE NOW at $59 intro (reg. $89)

Fluid Shorts II revisits performance-sourced chamber string shorts, but takes things a step further. Just like in the original Fluid Shorts, the multi-samples are completely playable and have a lively nature as they’re deconstructed from performances. However in Fluid Shorts II, instead of just one recorded speed of spiccato, there are multiple recorded speeds (four in all), and the faster speeds automatically trigger in based on your playing speed, to accommodate faster phrases – which sound more fluent, because you are triggering samples that are actually pulled from faster performances.

True repetition sampling (four speeds of repetitions) | Derived from performance phrases

Four individual sections of predominantly principle musicians: 8 violins, 6 violas, 5 cellos, and 4 basses

Recorded in an ambient hall with close, main (AB), and wide mic positions

Section unity – all musicians performing on the same session

Up to 7 RR / One dynamic layer (loud)

Control sample offset with a slider

Stack option which layers all four repetition speeds together (baked samples) for a larger sound

    Performance Samples’ new balance features

    48kHz / 24bit

    NCW-compressed, ~3.11 GB total

Built for Kontakt 5.8.1 and above – full, retail version of Kontakt required

    Download via Continuata

Check the blowout area at JRR.

Just purchased the Vintage collection 1. Can't believe how natural and organic the tone is. Although the plugin still doesn't respond to playing like the real amp, it sounds exceptionally good.

Oddly, the Blowout shop, 9 out of 10 times, is higher priced than
the Main Shop when you use the GROUP code...ALWAYS check BOTH!
