Nice one Tom , sounds like a strat on the second to bottom switch, you was flowing getting in the groove. I'm totally uninspired myself, over stressed with a few things. maybe i will start something next week, still in middle of doing my templates but taking a break, keep rocking

Thank you Freddy, i don't know why i don't like it, i was ment for a lady singer and i was let down, so it sort of put me off because i planned my work flow and was at the start of updated. My 3 songs tracks ive been updating my templates for my tracks, patches and buses to mastering. So iv'e been doing edm type of style with guitar, vocals, creating my own samples with a sample project template to help speed up things so i got more time for creating at the end of my updates which i am about 70% through, Time consuming but better in long run... Maybe i will got back to it, but i also have another lady singer, who is better for my work, so things have actually working out better lol

Cheers Larry just dropped another song what could have gone anywhere but i left it how it was. I was going to do more vocals and make it longer but for whatever reason i left it how it was

I had fun with this one, so if you want to listen to some music whilst watching a women get drunk in a bath, then your probably a red blooded person

Typical, everyone wants to hear more hahaha maybe go back to it after i finished the latest craziness
-
Yes i was gong to give it another 6 months, didn't want to be messing about at the moment
-
Yes i think my new version updated the stock version and the UI is bigger so crashes. At least its a crash and i no the problem
-
Which one is running more stable, less dropouts etc or does it make no difference ?
-
I am not sure if all cakewalk stock are? I have TSAR R1 Reverb plugin from softube, i think it was stock once that comes up on my pro channel chain when i go to add a module, if i add it, its crashes every time, so i have to add it to track or bus chain. There is always a issue somewhere
-
I will take the compliment, i do sit down sometimes and try to right a proper song but im normally trying to create hooks, beats and samples to get a better understanding of Cakewalk production etc so thanx
-
Long as its over 24bit its not a massive issue. The biggest issue with plugins is the CPU load
-
Is this Talent Plugin the one Milli Vanilli used for his Grammy Award for Best New Artist that didn't sing or play a instrument
-
Stick it on a bus and not every track, more stable on bus? I normally have a long verb and short Verb bus. HOWEVER, If i want more control on a track, i use the REMATRIX which is on the pro channel and great for subtle Verb long or shot and wet and dry (easy to use also). Never had a issue with it and great for automation but also great on a a bus . i tend to use the Breverb for something fancy or the free AMBIENCE, but i only use the Sonitus on a bus AMBIENCE (more downloads than anything else so you know its ok) The Tal is also https://www.pluginboutique.com/product/2-Effects/17-Reverb/426-Ambience

Yes Andrew Scheps is big on parallel compression bus for drums and bass, or a light bright air one for vocals. i tend to use a patches which are amazing to use, you can send all tracks to your patches, have a side chain patch or parallel compression and then send to any bus or double vocals etc saving loads of CPU. I use Andrew Scheps trade secrete 6DB Gain rule on mix bus, Steaky and few pros uses it to on the mix bus so i tried it even though it sort of makes no sense to turn you gain back to Zero before mixdown because you would think you would need to adjust everything again from putting 6dB of gain at start of chain then dropping to 0db, obviously you still don't clip your mete when on 6dbr! My average is about -3 when im sticking 6db in So when you take the 6 off there is about -5 or -6db headroom for mastering and only a little tweak is needed due to the Equal-loudness contour, just a nice bit of colour on mix bus because people always over do it, i tried it and works so well and better than just turning down the master to bounce. I matched my old mix to new mix and the colour was so much better this way. I'm not sure why, but apparently when you push the mastering back up, your bring that colour back hmmm

Soon as i say i had enough of it, typical lol

A lady was supposed to do the vocals, so i banged it together rough thinking i would spend time on it when she sent the vocals, Her vocals were terrible, was a big clash, she tried to hard and i was not there to help guide, so i never reworked it. Iv'e Did another track Marching on together (Warrior) and done a few 1min ideas because ive been updating my templates with different styles, long job
-
Cheers Mark, mum went in hospital derailed everything, so ive been doing little ideas and working on my templates which are coming on nice. Oh and i did the Leeds Utd track which ive been told is pretty banging (Warrior) Teams more like a damp squid though

Is there anyone here that would or have sent all your buses less your kick and vocals to a sidechain bus before your mix bus? Namely, you can sidechain everything on one bus or would you sidechain each bus. I side chain each bus and not them all because you can create bottom end space with EQ on some buses so no need and each bus also has a different dynamic and maybe already have some comp on the track to bus that you could end up smashing. HOWEVER, Iv'e been dabbling with buses and patches WHY YOU ASK..... When you are going epic crazy (lots of tracks) and want the kick maybe to cut through or vocal without pumping everything or adding sidechain to every track to see where the problem is, do you think the bus option. i do have a drum patch on my template before bus for para comp which i find better that an bus for drums or bass or both and i do sometimes sidechain the patch. Just asking as i never really sidechain on one track, either patch or bus, i am just wondering what people do when you haev lots going on. i have 12 buses on my standard template and was wondering would you do sidechain on patches or bus and why etc if anyone can understand what im say haha

Wrote start of song and here it is, quick 1min idea, should i scrap it? Not feeing it....
-
Thank you Jesse, i like to query to look at the different approaches people take, see what i can add or even take out. Iv'e really been working on my templates which i now realise will probably take about 10 project to achieve my goal. My project template is 36 track with about 10 buses and a few patches which you can use for sidechain, Para Comp and gating. My track, bus (mix bus too) and pro channel templates are not becoming more consistent that i can tweak which speeds up work flow and hopefully i can then be more relaxed to work on creativity

They always have great artwork

Most of the best sounds and FX came from mistakes and hardware break down etc Now you look at dubstep sounds with crazy filters etc doing strange sounds which are getting cut in to pro tracks, especially all the bottom end sub raptor wave type sounds etc which were mistakes back in the day lol
