Same here, I didn't know about it, but read about it here and thought can't hurt in trying. The following is a copy of my support ticket and the response,

Reel ADT in the right place with the right settings is awesome, it be gorgeous it be. @Mesh re Plates and R4, tough one, my answer is both, R4 . . . awesome sounding, everyone should have at least one. At the prices they can be had for now, just hold your breath and strike.

If you have any other decent drum vsti like BFD3, SD3, or even EZD2, I highly doubt you will stop using them, I'd be willing to bet that after the initial mess around period you will likely never touch it again. At least that's how it is for me, BFD3 just eats it from a sound point of view, it didn't stay installed long enough for any further comparisons. To old and not enough time to be messing around with stuff, that's why I uninstalled EZ Bass as well, MODO Bass just eats it sound wize, and that's all that matters to me for my use, I have no need for all the extras, and don't want to waste any time on them, as it bass gets played in with a real bass eventually.

I wish I could give back MODO Drum and take either LA Confidential or Hitmaker Synthwave for Sampletank instead. I own everything else in the Group Buy apart from Hitmaker EDM and Hitmaker Trap and zero interest in them.

I believe that is from July 16

He did say back a bit they would be switching over to a new server in the near future. Who knows

This is what I would like for the Amplitube FX Pedals and Racks (and any other processors in IK's other products, but mainly Amplitube) just like the T-Racks processors are, Set them FREE?

MODO Bass is in my opinion a no brainer, I have had it since release, it immediately pushed Trilian to the sidelines, and to my ears is quite a bit better sounding than EZBass in sound quality terms, of course EZBass does much more, but just in sound, it's MODO all the way, and for me the other features of EZBass are non starters because in the end the bass will be played in via a real bass, so the sound of the place keeper bass is all I'm interested in. As for MODO Drum, my personal opinion would be if you have another drum vsti like, BFD3, SD3 or even EZDrummer2, I would pass on MODO Drum. I got it as a freebie, and it's even more disappointing in person than it was via the sound demo's on the net, hence the reason I haven't purchased it in the past, the demo's done nothing for me, quite the opposite. BFD3 just blows it away. I got it because there was nothing else that I didn't already own that I wanted. I'll never use it. I joined the GB mainly to get get ST4 MAX, I already owned ST3 and everything released for it bar 3 or 4 EDM type things, I already had ST4 SE, and to be honest I was a little disappointed with ST4 MAX, in hindsight already having almost everything prior to ST4, I would have been happy with what I had and ST4 SE. I also got Miroslav 2 and the Hammond as freebies which I may get some use from, but there is nothing left to choose if the next level is reached.

Add it to your cart and it will show at checkout

I would rather they set all the Amplitube FX pedals and racks free as individual vst's like the T-Racks modules.

Well you could look at it like that ? There are a few 'benefits' to it, depends I guess. I own everything from everything, the ability to mix and match within the one environment I have thought about over time, whether or not it's worth $149 or indeed $199, I'm not sure. edit - If I could trade my MODO Drums that I got as a freebie in the VI GB I'd give it a go ?
-
$149 instead of $199 (Intro Price I guess)

It makes no difference now days, I have all versions of the media creation tools back a long way, if you run them now you will only get the latest version regardless. Fortunately I kept copies of the ISO's going back to1511 if I ever want them, but I am happy with1903 on my music PC's, I'll sit there for the foreseeable future, was actually happy sitting on 1803 but went chasing an issue with a plugin, someone said to update Windows, I didn't want to because I knew it wouldn't be the cure, which it wasn't, but I found no issues with 1903 so let all my music PC's update to 1903 then shut the updates down again.

I manually downloaded the ST Max files (Quicker) no way I could get PM to use them, so I installed it all manually. Didn't take that long.
-
Just don't install it. Download the bootable ISO file, burn it to CD, then when you want to backup you just boot to that CD follow the instructions, same if you need to reinstate. Easy as, never had an issue. I prefer to do it manually than have stuff running in the background doing God knows what when I don't want. Much prefer to take control myself, also I prefer doing this sort of stuff 'offline', not within a running OS.

^^^ This I would never have purchased it straight out, if it wasn't for filling up a freebie slot I wouldn't have it now. I doubt I'll ever use it. MODO Bass on the other hand is excellent, I have been using that for place holder Bass parts since release.
-
Sure you got that right, that doesn't work for me but 'LASTCALL' does, you might have LABORDAY hanging over from another sale ?
-
Very nice, insta buy for me, have just the place to try it out on, similarish to the distorted guitar thing he tried in the vid, should work very well hopefully.

I don't use that either, it's just cclarry and the deals forum, I just caught shortened version of the thread tittle and had a peak, don't usually venture out of the basement. Glad you fixed it, (not that it bothers me, eg, I'm happy with 2 to ot too) it just didn't make sense as it was, still understandable, and I know how much importance you put on these things, and you are usually on the mark.
