I think Dandy is a little cheaper now too. I’m going to hold out though. Been spending too much $$$.

So tempting. I have so many plugins though.

Undo upon changing voice order in intelligent harmonization. The update is free of charge and can be downloaded from the zplane user area. https://products.zplane.de/vielklang

I want better drum building capabilities like what toontrack did with its song builder but integrated into a groove track with some Jamstix like AI thrown in. Groove Agent does some things ok but it’s so clunky. I always request this on the surveys. Would also like a native gain staging solution.

Hmm. This looks pretty underwhelming and I’m a lifelong (since Atari) fan.

Cool. Bummer they don’t have Dandy bassist there.

Amplitube 5 is here - Release Date 15/12/20 or 16/12/20

I mean, I worry about buying it today and getting AT 4 Max today and then I get caught in some situation where I'm told I only get AT 5 SE because it was bundled with AT 4 MAX. -

I think IF I want to get Satriani and the AT5 upgrade, the AX I/O with Max - minus jam points is the way to go for me. I wish the Axe I/O worked with iOS, then it would be a no brainer for. I am just afraid to order it now before AT5 is out because I don't know if ordering AXE I/O with Max will cause an issue once AT5 is out. The announcements thus far could have been a little clearer. -

Peter wrote this on the IK forum. second sentence seems to indicate existing gear will take advantage of the new features thread here https://cgi.ikmultimedia.com/ikforum/viewtopic.php?f=5&t=25753&p=108718#p108718 If you have AmpliTube 4 MAX and don't have the seven subsequent collections, you'd want AmpliTube 5 MAX. If you have most of them you can get AmpliTube 5 SE for the full features and all you already have will run perfectly in it taking advantage of the new features. -

Got it. I also have everything except for satriani. I think the sold downside is that to SE is that there is some new gear not included. AFAIK The PDFs on the info page (at last look) also include AT4 gear so it’s hard to tell exactly what is new for AT5 that is different between the SE and regular. -

So by buying amplitube full at best service you get the upgrade to to regular version of 5? I really have to believe IK works as it does because it wants to inflate its units sold numbers to increase its valuation in an eventual sale. -
i never was able to wrap my head around mdrummer. Maybe I will give it another shot. Looks like it does a lot, just isnt very intuitive.

Welcome back!

I communicated with him on kvr last night. I ordered MPS upgrade Friday evening and got the serial number fine. He always has provided great customer service. Hopefully they move the whole site to another platform.

Looks like version 1.5 (current version?) came out 7 years ago. I wonder if it is still being actively developed.

Overloud rarely emails about any updates. In the case of THU 1.2 looks like I got an email 9/1 about that as it was an update with new features. Other than that though, I check once a week or so. Agree the install process is annoying because is if you have a lot of plugins you need to scroll a lot to even see everything.

Agree. This is going to be the first ik effect I don’t buy.

I literally had the same issue. Take a snapshot and run CC cleaner and let it clean the registry and everything. It is named after you after all!

I had this same problem and spent a fair amount of time tying to figure it (pulled out hard drives, changed video cards, tried different drivers, etc. etc. ). what finally worked for me was running CC cleaner and letting it fix everything it wanted to. After that the update worked.
