  1. @Glenn Stanton I think Studio one has one of the best ones ... You get the perpetual license with the subscription so when you don't want to update you don't have to the choice is yours... It will keep working on the version you stopped pay on that's a sweet deal if you ask me ... But I get it the old way for different layers of the same product where some cost more than others that way is not what I'm talking about for users ... @Mánibranðr Studios I think it's better to just have one price than to have several prices... It just confuses thing in the end.. like I said in this post to Glenn... I think Studio One has the right idea and is executing it perfectly... Just my 2 cents ..😀🙏🏾
  2. @Starship Krupa yea we have been asking for several things for years but it seems like it falls on deaf ears. I'm pretty sure they will ignore this post like they have in the past. I think the simplest thing they are denying long time users is a perpetual license. They are screaming it from the roof tops and no one can hear them. We will see where this all goes...🤔
  3. Where do I begin? Cakewalk Sonar needs some features added and updated. This will allow Cakewalk Sonar to be the premier DAW that people want to use. Many people may not agree with the statements that I make but the things I asked for will definitely help people's workflow. 1st request is to be able to use Bandlabs Auto-Tune in Cakewalk Sonar. This will allow people to use Auto-Tune easily in Cakewalk sonar this feature has been missing for a long time and the technology is there through bandlab not sure why it's not in Cakewalk sonar. 2nd request Bandlabs drum machine in Cakewalk Sonar or at least the one in Cakewalk Next. The ability to add your own drums into a drum pad style sequencer will help many people and their workflow I'm not 100% sure why this has not been added already. 3rd request stem separation in Cakewalk sonar. This will help with the creative flow coming into the daw being able to separate stems like vocals drums guitars and instruments will make production a lot easier this feature is also in Cakewalk next and is not in Cakewalk sonar. 4th request bandlab instruments in Cakewalk sonar. Right now with the subscription you can use bandlab samples but we do not have the instruments that bad lab has this will help when trying to integrate Bandlab projects and Cakewalk Sonar projects and Cakewalk Next projects. 5th request update x sampler to be able to split samples onto different keys. X sampler should also be able to pitch shift a single audio on different notes. Example getting an 808 to slide using portamento which also needs to be added to x sampler. X sampler should also be able to do crossfades on chops Warp audio and send chops to drum machine that I asked for as the fourth request. 6th request the ability to add another EQ in the pro channel. This request has been asked before and no answers or suggestions have been given to add another EQ in the pro channel. This will help when people need to mix their songs. I know many of you may tell me to add another EQ with the effects rack I understand that is possible but is it not easier to add another EQ into the pro channel. You can add everything else in a pro EQ more than once but you cannot add another EQ. 7th request update to matrix view. This matrix view has been needing an update for a while there are so many different things that you can do to improve the matrix view. I have seen new dolls come out like traction waveform and they have added different things into their clip launcher that can be incorporated into Cakewalk sonar for the matrix view. 8th request update to the piano roll. The one in bandlab has an option for chords and scales that allows users to make music a lot easier than you can inside of Cakewalk sonar. This should be incorporated inside of Cakewalk sonar. These are just a couple of suggestions of features that should be added to Cakewalk sonar. All the features listed above it will definitely help the Cakewalk sonar brand just hope the bakers will look at this and put these things into action in the upcoming Cakewalk sonar updates.
  4. +1 definitely needs to add this and more.
  5. This worked thanks .. I don't ever remember putting Facebook as a linked account. I have no idea why it was setup.... If anyone else is having this issue follow this thread and it should work.
  6. Please tell me why I have to sign in to Facebook to sign into my Bandlab account. This is not something I want to do. I do not want my accounts linked that's why they have different logins and sign ons why on earth do you think I want bandlab to attached to my Facebook. What's worse is that it doesn't give you another option to sign into your bandlab account it's Facebook or nothing . What if I didn't have a Facebook account how would I use Cakewalk? I don't know if others have had this issue but I will not be doing this. Bakers please let me know what I have to do not to sign into Facebook. Thank you
  7. I would like for the overdub or sound on sound be updated so that the the work flow can be a lot smoother when recording tracks in Sonar. In this video I show how the DAW handles dubbing (sound on sound) and having to bounce everything can be tricky at times it would help out a lot if recording was smoother and tracked a lot better. These are just some suggestions for the bakers to keep in mind when working on Sonar.
  8. Hi Baker's I would like to see the step sequencer updated to allow triplets and rolls inside the step sequencer currently you have to add more steps but it would misplace what you have already laid down in the step sequencer which make it hard to add little accents and rolls without redoing the whole sequence... I would like if you could add a shift and click to do rolls in the step sequencer currently a flam is done with a double click that why I suggested the shift and click to add triplets or rolls... I made a video showing what I am asking for hope to see this in the future . Thanks for all you guys do
  9. New video alert... Check me out... Definition of A Monster...(yea that's me) Now available on all major platforms links to songs here https://distrokid.com/hyperfollow/xelohh/definition-of-a-monster ? Please like ..comment... And share
  10. I still have issues with vst3 SampleTank it will crash Cakewalk everytime... I have already reported it to Cakewalk but the problem still persist .. I can crash Cakewalk without fail with vst3 SampleTank the VST2 works great no issues no crashing but vst3 for SampleTank and some other vsts crash CakeWalk all the time so I stick to vst2s right now.
  11. I'm not 100% sure what they are asking for in this thread...?
  12. The 4.2 software that came out in March I think started allowing you to do this... Before that you had to do a lot of stuff to import samples like have the key to every sample and they had to be labeled and formated a certain way for it to work. I'm glad they updated this feature it could be helpful..?
  13. If you haven't already you should check out IK's SampleTank 4.2 they have a free version that does the drag and drop features you can see me create a beat from scratch in cakewalk. Hope this helps with sounds and creating..?
  14. Just looked at Studio One 6 and they have the EQ I was asking for ... Lol ?... The only thing it doesn't have is more bands.. I think ?..
  15. That sounds awesome I'm in 4 libraries right now just got signed to a new one recently. Learning the ropes myself got a couple of placements already on about 6 different shows. So far I'm enjoying it but I hate the waiting for approved tracks and placements .. but it's cool to hear your song on a show... That's one of the reasons I like the Arranger and the new export option that cakewalk has done. Good luck on that medieval track that you're working on..?
  16. @Mark Morgon-Shaw I totally agree with the sampler... It's so crazy to me that we haven't gotten one yet and it doesn't seem like we will at this rate... Lol... I do see alot of these request that you are talking about that currently have solutions... This is just a request not a solution to anything that is needed... I do think it's a great idea that will help us out it can be at the bottom of the list as long as it's on there ...?? Im starting to dip my toe into sync as well how long have you been doing it?
  17. This is working on the app itself it's part of the big picture for Cakewalk. You might not use the Pro channel but many of us do... And to reach for third party plugins all the time is cool but it's taxing on the CPU at times with certain plugins... the Pro channel is one of the reasons I still use Cakewalk and the Arranger without these 2 things right now I would leave cakewalk for good and not look back. I do urban music mostly and to not have a built in sampler is a pain in my side for Cakewalk especially since the Bandlab Online App has one but we can't get one for Cakewalk it just frustrates me to no end... No matter how many request come in for this feature. The features I am asking for they have done before on the stand alone eqs they have had for years all I'm asking is for them to implement those things in what we currently have will they do it probably not but this is what request are for so they know what we want. I don't think people understand what feature request is sometimes on this forum.. the Bakers put this here to see what we want to add to the DAW there are many things that need to be done but the things I am asking for will help everyone be more efficient and faster with mixing and mastering. There have been countless times that others and I have posted what we want as a request and people say the Bakers don't need to focus on that I don't get it.
  18. Ok... Cool... I have never heard or seen that before... Not sure how I would use drive on an EQ... Is there an EQ that you use that has a drive knob?
  19. Agreed... I knew I was forgetting something lol.. ? #5 Dynamic EQ +1
  20. The Pro Channel EQ is a pretty good EQ but it needs some updates to make it better. 1.Solo frequency bands (This will make it so much easier to hear what you need to eq in or out) 2.Brick wall EQ Slope for low and high cuts (The best way to completely cut off a frequency of a sound that you want to eliminate the 48 curve is cool but doesn't get everything and seeing that you can only use one EQ you have to use another third party EQ to do this action like Ozone or Fab Filter ) 3.The option to add more eq bands ( Some times I need more bands when doing subtractive EQ and run out of bands before I can finish removing what needs to be taken away and once again you only get one EQ to do this) 4.More than one EQ on a Pro Channel (requested before but hey why not ask again) I think these updates to the EQ will help alot of people out and they wont always have to reach out for third party EQ's to do these features. Please +1 the request for the Bakers to take a look at adding these things to the EQ and let us know if there is anything that you would like to add to the EQ.
  21. I would definitely use it more if that was the case but now I don't really mess with Bandlab like that sometimes I want to change what I made on the go in cakewalk and to not have the instruments just slows down the process because I have to find a new sound to replace the one from Bandlab
