Looks like there are two different MIDI controllers, the track lane and the Piano roll. I tried the "W" button I can Draw the info, but I really want to use the mod wheel real time to record the data. how to rrealtime record Modulation to a MIDI track?

thank you. Downloaded the "Sonar" control maps, The Control Maps do not have anything listed for Cakewalk or Sonar. This is exactly why the request is for Video or Images. not more words on a page. Do you have a control map for Cakewalk to share? Why would Cakewalk make a controller and not have a default Control Map?

should the prepare buffer stay default 250, or leave it at 1024? I've never changed that setting before. Only buffers ever changed were ASIO depending on Playback or recording.

250ms is the default, I've never changed it. Is it specific to Tempo changes?

Not sure why this is happening but wanted to mention it in case someone else noticed the same thing. When Tempo slows down, playback is noticeably "stuttered" Export the file plays back as expected. 1) Also the Left Click Drag up/Down does not work in the Tempo Window the way it does in other windows.

Tempo Window - the main view allows Left click Drag up/down to zoom. in the measure bar, It would be helpful to have that consistency in the Tempo Window ~ thanks!

The ONLY way I've found to solve this stupid problem is to: convert the MIDI to a "Groove Clip" File> Export as "MIDI Groove Clip" Win Media Player Plays clip at correct tempo and file can now be used in other app or Cbb project with adjusted tempo. Haha, Because I suk at math, the original 1999 project is at 200 bpm to help place notes. I Am now wanting to move the piano to a new project with a more reasonable tempo yet preserve the tempo map! Next will be experimenting with Squishing time. I really appreciate this forum!

This seems way more complicated than necessary. I just want to export 1 single piano midi file not a project and not merging all other midi into 1 file. What is the advantage of RIFF MIDI 0 and when / why to use it?

Have a MIDI track 200 bpm then the last 2 measures slows to 75 bpm. I only want to export the first measure of the entire song. (it should be 200 bpm) Select + drag drop to desktop does not preserve the tempo, the entire MIDI is 100 bpm. Win Media Player confirms the Tempo is for some reason saving at 100. How to export just a 1 measure clip of the MIDI data with correct tempo? is there a way to apply the tempo to the MIDI before "Save As" or Drag Drop? "Save As "will do MIDI format 0, MIDI format 1, Each of these options are creating all midi tracks in the project, not the single track soloed and selected. REQUEST: Please put MIDI in export or right click menu options.
