  1. There are now 3 free packs for Playbeat to download... https://audiomodern.com/playbeat-packs/
  2. Thanks Larry; fast as ever! Here's the change log : What’s New in Hammond B-3X 1.3.4 Added native Apple M1 support ( @Fleer please note!) Fixed a bug where unfreezing a track in Pro Tools reverted the plug-in to its default preset Fixed an issue where a crash could occur with very low buffer sizes at 96kHz sample rate on Mac Fixed a bug where selecting outputs above 1-2 in the standalone version could silence audio General reliability improvements
  3. @aidan o driscoll Yup, it's a goodie. I picked it in February last year for $14.99 (plus VAT) so about the same as now ? It's one that John 'Skippy' Lehmkul was involved in the development for...
  4. Voxengo TEOTE 1.8 This update includes the following changes: * Updated all palettes, to reduce "border" contrast. An existing palette may need to be reloaded for the change to be visible. * Improved knob's renderings. * Added the "Panel border" palette modifier. * Improved overall graphics drawing performance. * Implemented per-band automatic processing bypass in the "Apply to Range" mode, to reduce CPU load with a minimal impact to the sound. Useful for live situations. * Improved overall processing performance by 3%. * Added the "OLE Roll-off" parameter that controls the overall loudness estimator's weighting in the lower frequencies. Provides an additional control over dynamic response, especially for EDM-alike music. This addition is backwards-compatible (at value of 2.7). * Extended the "Slope" value range to -7.5 to -1.5, for creative uses (this may skew an existing automation of this parameter). To download this update, or change the notification settings, please visit the Voxengo web page https://www.voxengo.com/cp/updates/
  5. @Simeon Amburgey Just catching up with it now! Looks awesome as always and curious to have a listen to Simple 1.5. Man, that Rhodes sounds gorgeous and one of my favourite Howard Jones songs (No One is to Blame).
  6. I grabbed the Dune 3 and Diva ones - very nice indeed. I'm tempted by that 25 pack for Spire at $9.99, just in case I ever buy Spire!

    8dio.com hacked

That explains why Kaspersky wouldn't let me view the email!
  8. Thanks for this. Did anyone else notice the update is version 1.1.7 rather than 1.1.6?

  10. Also, these for other synths... 11. Always worth an email when you are ready abacab. I have all of their synth demos installed which is a good way to decide which ones float your boat. I have slowly been replacing demos with full versions. To be honest Icarus 2 could have been Gladiator 3 or Electra 2. I just liked the assortment and variety of presets in Icarus 2. Undoubtedly it also has one of the most complete feature sets; 3 oscillator, 3d wavetables, multiple resynthesis methods, great sounding filters, a glitch sequencer, two MSEGs and a drum machine. It can be in your face when you want it to be, but just listen to some of the complex evolving atmo presets to hear the other side of it.
  12. I think these look like the permasale prices Eusebio. I picked up Nemesis and Icarus 2 over Christmas at much lower prices (already had Saurus 3 and Warlock) . If you own any of these already it's always worth emailing Markus for a price on any that you want. That's what I did.
  13. Same here. These got me interested in their paid synths and I now have all of those. I guess it's clever marketing by U-He. I also forgot Triple Cheese which is currently the subject of a "One Synth Challenge" on KVR.
  14. @simon I recall looking at Absolute 5 and not seeing anything worthwhile (not for what they were asking anyway). I will be very interested to see Halion 7 though. Let's hope the upgrade price is reasonable and follows the Dorico UI vibe.
  15. Thanks Simon - The first video in that list shows Cubase 12 and Halion 7 listed here in the Activation Manager --> https://youtu.be/Ao0MYkO3IYY?t=47

Probably a lot more that I haven't thought of yet.
  17. Hi Aidan, I have also been using Reaper more than usual recently, and I'm really liking its MIDI routing capability. How are you finding Saviour? Do CW files translate well to Reaper?
  18. The announcement is at 11 am CT which is 5pm UK time (I think might be 6pm in France?)
  19. I was also curious about this Zo - no demo that I can find and it's 46 GBP inc VAT to buy. I am tempted but... You were right about Abyss, it's inspiring! Unfortunately, I snoozed and missed that $54 deal at Christmas but I have now signed up for the 90 day demo (hopefully they will have another sale within that time )
  20. I've had similar experiences myself with my daughter and some of her schoolfriends. I used Melodyne and "recorded doubles" a lot. They were amazed at the final results. I am constantly amazed at what can be done with Melodyne, and I finally upgraded from Editor to Studio recently so I'm looking forward to delving into that. There was a video I watched a few years ago from a Melodyne product specialist (Stefan Lindlahr I think) who was involved in the development of Melodyne and his video really upped my Melodyne game. That and upgrading from Assistant to Editor at the same time!
  21. That's what I've been doing so far (with mixed results!) Also, not so easy when I want a female vocal.
