Melodyne installed as add-on via BandLab Assistant is 30 days trial version. If you've been using Cakewalk for a month, your trial period has probably expired and it works as Melodyne player.
-
Same here, although v2 works fine in Reaper. Hmm... I downloaded "ToneDeluxeV2.vst3" and put it under "C:\Program Files\Common Files\VST3" folder, it's scanned and working in Cakewalk.

Which file have you downloaded, x64 VST or x64 VST3 for Windows? and located it to where on your hard drive?
-
Probably cre83.dll is resource file of Melodyne 3, not VST plugin file. C:\Program Files (x86)\Celemony\Melodyne.3.2\Resources\cre83.dll C:\Program Files\Celemony\Melodyne.3.2\Resources\cre83.dll Have you got the following folder at the VST scan path in the preferences? C:\Program Files\Celemony\Melodyne.3.2\ (Resources) C:\Program Files (x86)\Celemony\Melodyne.3.2\ (Resources) If it's in VST scan path, remove it and then try to scan.

@dfranks11 Actually, it's white letters on light grey background. It might be hard to identify with tired eyes or color settings of your display monitor. FYI: It might be easy to see the hidden TEXT (even if it's the same color as the background) by selecting all the mail text with CTRL + A (to highlight all text).

2020.04 build 179 installer has been updated after officially released?
-
@Noel Borthwick @Morten Saether Gotcha! Yes, it is caused by character encoding! My text file had been remained saved by S-JIS as the test last time. Unfortunately, many Japanese people still have the habit of saving text files in S-JIS... It might be better to mention the UTF-8 encoding in the What's new bug fix section. FYI: running Japanese Windows. @Morten Saether CbB language setting does not seem to affect it. It's okay in both English and Japanese.

Seems multi byte characters are still garbling... (2020.04 build 179) Am I doing something wrong?

What does this mean? "Selected" means that highlighted with clicking track number? Seems "Delete Track" deletes the focused track even if the track is selected, or not.

SOLVED (sort of) Midi Controller TTSSEQ Issues
HIBI replied to Rob Bolling's topic in Instruments & Effects
@User 905133 FYI: You can expand a posted image with just cliking few times. After clicking the posted image, move the mouse cursor to the outside of the image and then return it (its a little bit hassle). Now you can see the mouse cursor will change to a magnifying glass (+). At that point, you can click on the image to open it in a new window and enlarge it to its original size with clicking. -
Yes, "fully patched" means "up-to-date the Windows". ARM64 is not needed for desktop PCs, so please install x64 and x86 and then try to reinstall Cakewalk (Just in case, after reboot your PC).

Have you tried WASAPI mode? Probably the best driver mode for using internal Realtek Audio.
-
Probably missing "Microsoft Visual C++ Runtime" or its corrupted. This page is old but maybe helps: https://www.cakewalk.com/Support/Knowledge-Base/2016000033/Unable-to-register-the-DLL-OCX-RegSvr32-failed-with-exit-code-0x3 First of all, make sure your Windows is fully patched. You can also try re-installing the Microsoft Visual C++ Runtime 2015-2019.

No need multiple instances. If loading KSOP patch, put midi notes of both melody and key-switch on in the PRV of the same instance. You can also use velocity version (VSOP patch). Download these manuals (_EN.pdf is in English) and sample midi files below and check how to switch articulations. Standard Guitar_Manual.rar METAL-GTX_Manual.rar Note: for use in Cakewalk, you need to shift one octave from Key-switch notation of the manual. Ex. Sustain Down is "C1" in the manual => "C2" in default setting Cakewalk

These free sfz soundfonts have palm muted sounds. https://unreal-instruments.wixsite.com/unreal-instruments/standard-guitar https://unreal-instruments.wixsite.com/unreal-instruments/metal-gtx You can use them loading in the sfz player called sforzando. It's direct sound of electric guitar, so make sound up with using amp simulator like TH3.

I have been using Logitech MX Master 3. Thumb wheel that dedicated to horizontal scrolling is nice to scroll the timeline, however, price is too expensive...

@Gary Smith Have you logged into BandLab Assistant with your BandLab account? If you haven't created BandLab account yet, sign up at https://www.bandlab.com/sign-up You have to login into BandLab Assistant to download and install Cakewalk by Bandlab. Is there no "Log-In" button? Please post a screenshot what you see now if you can.

@Noel Borthwick I know it's kind of too late to ask, but I have just tried this. Japanese text is not displayed correctly. Seems text garbling. It is not supported 2 bytes characters? or caused by character code of text file? I have tried both SJIS and UTF-8.

Installing Cakewalk and Add-ons at the same time? If so, try to install only Cakewalk without checking Add-ons. If it works, try to install Add-ons additional.
-
Same result in standalone mode? If getting same result, graphics driver or its settings could be a cause.

In my case, after logging in, when I was browsing some pages such as "My Products", a notification box popped up.

How to get the metronome NOT to be recorded in my track
HIBI replied to Giorgio Musso's question in Q&A
Sounds like, main output of audio interface is set as the input on a track to record. Make sure the input on a track to record is set to "Left QUAD-CAPTURE 1-2" or "Right QUAD-CAPTURE 1-2", not "Stereo (or Left, Right) QUAD-CAPTURE MAIN".
