Those are good deals, I sure wish we could get a jamstix 5.

That's the best price I've seen so far. Retails for $199, usually goes on sale for $99.

Just when I thought it was safe to check this forum. As @Zo said, that's a great price. I'll be pulling the trigger.

Oh man, I'm jumping on that!!

I can't decide if over the years Larry has saved me money or cost me money. It's probably some of both, so I'm definitely in for a coffee

I've used Sweetwater for years, and would gladly buy hardware from them, but the two guitars they sold me clearly had not been through the 55 Point Inspection either. Neither had a serious problem that I couldn't fix, but I would say don't claim to do a detailed inspection if you don't actually do it.

My strategy is to cave into every deal I see, smoke my credit cards, and then try to beat y wife to the mail box. I figure I have at least a 50/50 chance of success.

"Come on, baby needs a new reverb"

I'm with ya. When I read the article, I got a little knot in my stomach. The hope I have right now is that Fender seems to be a very different company than Gibson.

It looks like all the head people at Presonus are staying on, which I take as a good sign, but these kinds of mergers always make me a bit nervous.

I'd guess that about a third of the time he posts a deal I find myself asking, "How does he know about all this stuff?" I'm thinking he has some deep links with certain "intelligence agencies".

Dawg-gone, BF I just bought Renaxxance and The Fiddle and felt all full and satisfied. Now I've got to get Delta Blues Slide Guitar. Is there a bottom to this hole?

I got it on sale several months ago ($99 I think) It's easy-peasy to use: you set all your faders to "0", then load AIYAC on every track of your session, go to the preset menu and choose what instrument is on that track, click the "learn all channels" button, play your song all the way through, hit "mix" and you're done. So how good a job does it do? I'd say about 30% of the time it gets you 90% of the way to a really good mix, 30% of the time it gives you decent results that will need some work, and 30% of the time it's not even close. I play mostly country/blues/rock/pop type of material so I can't weigh-in on how it does with rap, electronic or ambient styles. I know a good mix when I hear one, but I pretty much suck at mixing, and I find that as often as not after I use AIYAC I'm in the ballpark which made it a good purchase for me. If you're fairly good at mixing I don't know that you'd need it unless you want to get a quick mix on the fly. On the other hand, if you are a beginner or if, like me, you know how a mix should sound, but can't quite get there it can be a very helpful tool. If I lost it, I would definitely buy it again.

I'm just curious as to why this is a 2.4 gig download. Is that the program itself or does it download all of IK's other stuff as well. -
Geez, with Larry out of action and now your post I feel kind of orphaned! Nevertheless, I hope your projects go great and you get rich.

I had been experiencing this too and thought it was my computer! I guess I'm glad it isn't just me. Maybe IK will address this soon.

This guy does some very inexpensive Kontakt libraries. They aren't usually as detailed as the more expensive ones, but are still quite useable. He also had a jillion different types of irs (reverbs, mics, tubes etc). https://pasttofuturereverbs.gumroad.com/

Thanks very much for posting this. I just bought a Crucial SSD because I trusted them to provide quality. I'm guess I'm contacting support.
