  1. Have you tried SubLab? if that doesn't work, there is UVI Meteor and Falcon 2. But that is not cheap. It will definitely get the job done though, any for that matter. ?
  2. In that case I will retype what I wrote before editing it out ? SynthMaster and/or SubLab both at decent prices and SynthMaster seems like an all around synth that may do what you want. SubLab is great for 808, Bass, and any sub/low end sound. Try the demo of both of them to find out. Keep in mind that it probably is the combination of synth and FX that may get the sound you want as well.
  3. I have the full Nectar 3, but when I go to trials in the Product Portal I see Nectar 3 Plus. What the heck is that? I couldn't find anything on their site or Google about it. ?
  4. So I tested the demo. VST 3 version is buggy and just closes Cakewalk while it scans for VST 3 plugins. VST 2 version is more stable and able to scan for VST 3 plugins. This however doesn't load up an instrument. It loads ups as an FX. And not just in Cakewalk. I tried it in Davanci Resolve and MPC 2. Same result. The reason I would want this is for loading up VST 3 instruments. It does however load up VST 3 plugins in Davinci Resolve and also loads up MPC Beats in Cakewalk and runs without Cakewalk crashing. But it's useless because it is loading it as an FX. So it's a good thing I tested the demo first. I'll save my money and pass on this unless they update it to be able to be used as both an FX and Instrument.
  5. I wonder what is the difference between this and UVI Meteor?
  6. So I will be able to load VST3 in MPC 2 or MPC Beats! Load VST3 in Reason 11! Load VST3 in Davinci Resolve Studio 16! And load MPC Beats in Cakewalk without it crashing?! I hope so for ALL 4 cases!!! ? I will definitely get it to test it out if no one does.....the only question is WHEN!?! ?
  7. The most I wanted to get from PA was the UA Lion synth. It costs $199 but with the $39.99 voucher and $25 survey voucher, I was able to buy it for $14.99! ?
  8. Why do I feel like this is all my fault?! ?
  9. I have no issue buying from them. You don't really need an account as far as I remember. I just use Paypal at checkout and they use the email used with Paypal to send receipt and serials and it is instant.
  10. https://www.proaudiostar.com/propellerhead-reason-11-upgrade-from-reason-intro-lite.html For people that got the free Reason 11 Lite and want a deal for an upgrade. This is the cheapest I found! Considering what you are getting if you use this as a VST in your DAW, I would say it is worth it! It is like paying full price for a synth, but instead of getting one, you get 17 plus 40 other effects and devices and 11 GB of sounds and samples. Also there is MIDI out which means you can control any instrument you have using the MIDI utilities within the rack like Beat Map, Dual Arpeggio, and Scales & Chords.
  11. I guess buying for $0 does still count as a purchase, so I got 2 plugins for FREE! lol
  12. All you do is download and install it, and when it asks for license use the email you registered with filesilo. I did that and got all 3 plugins plus all the free ones.
  13. Use this voucher code during checkout to get it at this discounted price: SPL-IRON-3999 SPL Iron
  14. I noticed that too LOL! But I am unsure if it was because of me ?
  15. At first I didn't post affiliate links (which in my case were just referral links for 10% off coupons). But after my first VSTBuzz purchases I did because I learned that I can. Whenever I posted a VSTBuzz link here from the store area it was always for something I bought already or something I wanted to buy. Also because it seemed to me that people were not that aware of/or forgotten about the store area. As much as I wanted many coupons I could get at the time, to buy all the stuff I wanted from there plus the new deals they had, I refrained from posting random links or duplicates because in my opinion to me it felt inauthentic. And I only wanted to post stuff from the store area that I thought was cool and wanted to get myself. Also at the time, I was new to all things music creation and was collecting VSTs for my own music creations. Hence all the VSTBuzz store links from me. I have since bought everything I wanted from the store area, and because of that have not posted stuff from there. As far as the deals section, I only gave my own opinions or recommendations for stuff I bought myself or wanted to buy. For stuff I wasn't sure about or not interested in, I only posted the links for awareness of the products and just quoted the site directly with no opinions and comments of my own. I never really thought I would get much from the referrals, but when I did I posted here on the forum about that to help people save more. I feel that in context of this forum (the deals section); affiliate links from individuals are fine as long as they are being authentic and truthful about their posts (i.e. only giving opinions about a product they have used or have interest in buying themselves, otherwise post only for awareness).
  16. It is adequate. The CPU is minimum specs. Everything else is above minimum. As long as you are not doing anything that consumes high CPU cycles, you should be OK. The only way to be 100% certain is to try ?
  17. Yes indeed! And I did get a qualifying library not long ago and waiting for the next 50% off sale as well.
  18. After pondering this dilemma, I wondered, what happens if you click OK anyway? ? Are you running whatever this is, on your built-in hard drive? Not going to be making assumptions without more information. All we know is that something is asking you where you want VST plugins to be installed. And apparently it wont let you install it anywhere else than the non-existent E drive. Apart from being physically there to help you, we would need way more information than that!
  19. (to quote the title) FINALLY! ?
  20. I have been following this thread to see what new posts there are, because I find it hilarious that a lot of people have responded but not realize that the OP seems to have given up on this thread. I doubt he even reads it, yet we are all talking (or arguing, lol) amongst ourselves here. ? He started another thread on the same forum page but this time addressing the problem (which he already done here BTW), but no one responded. So I think he gave up all together! I did end up asking him questions because his setup was very odd and mysterious, judging from the video he posted. So that is why I didn't make any recommendations in my latest reply to him and just asked questions for clarification. But somehow my reply to him stirred people up somehow IDK even how, LOL! The OP never asked those first questions because of his curiosity to see if a GPU can be used to offload CPU processes for audio and if he can use his Nvidia card's A.I. processing to make Cakewalk run faster and render audio even better than it can. It was never about a GPU's potential in doing other stuff it isn't really know for. He asked those question because he had a problem, which he then later explained. Since this was a PROBLEM report and discussion and not a CURIOSITY talk and discussion. I avoided recommending or hinting at anything that wasn't traditional and well know fixes. Sometimes it is usually the simplest things that fix a problem (e.g turn it off and on again ? ). So using his sound card instead of his graphics card to check if it will fix the problem, is not blasphemy and asking to be burned at the stake! ????‍♂️ If this thread was all about what the latest GPU tech can do in terms of anything other than the usual graphics rendering, then it's a whole different story! Artificial Intelligence, Data mining, virtualization technology,....etc. The list goes on! Heck, you can even use your GPU to do VERY AWESOME A.I. based Audio Noise Suppression: Nvidia RTX Voice! So you see, confusing the guy about external solutions, or all the wonders of what you can do with a graphics card to make audio awesome and better than ever, or even worse; tips on how to compile a program in the coding language of your choosing that would utilize all your CUDA cores or multi core hyper-threading, that you would use windows powershell and have it write to the Registry and always start up on boot and run in the background before Cakewalk, so all his audio problems will be solved with the power of his old graphics card! I digress.....but you get the point! It wouldn't end well. ?
  21. I tried that. VIP fails to load MPC Beats.
  22. I'm actually collecting these free Kontakt libraries, so when I end up upgrading to full version, I already have stuff to play with. ?
