I'm done. No Tape Machines for me, only 3 X-Gear pedals. (only???) I guess I'd rather be making stuff right now rather than mixing. Besides, now I can get the tapes as a bundle if they go on sale. They sound amazing by the way. I was leaning towards the 440 as my single pick. Then I listened to the demo on the X-Gear Vibe and picked it. Thanks IK and @Peter - IK Multimedia for all of the plugins! Where to start? Wow.

I keep forgetting I own this since I got Audiority's Tube Modulator. For the record, I haven't had any issues with iLok software Manager for years. It does open up some nice Devs: SoundToys, Kush, and Eventide to name a few.

There were some issues a couple of years ago with some download files from his old site. But after he switched to Patreon, I think all has been clear. I always scan and re-scan downloads from him, but haven't seen anything for awhile. I also don't actively use his plugins - I keep meaning to because they get good feedback, but... the infected download thing is some hard baggage to get rid of.

We're mostly right on the same page. I've been thinking X-Space and X-Time and either X-Vibe or a Tape Machine. I have a couple of tape options already and I'm not keen on the CPU thing, but the way everyone is gushing about them, just call it FOMO. In regards to the last 2 X Pedals, there are a whole lot of options with amps and other FX in Amplitude...

I got in at the $149 level too with the ARC 3 w Mic because I've been eying it for a long time but also because you couldn't pick it as a freebie... $104 or so with Jam Points.

I was thinking it might be nice to have another "flavor" of restoration stuff besides Izotope. You can use a PA $25 voucher to get this for $19.99 instead of $29.99 too..

I've got my Tascam PortaStudio in it's original box sitting on a bookshelf! I don't really miss it either. Give me my DAW any day...

I'm still a little bummed the Amplitude stuff doesn't work outside the ecosystem as VSTs. (??) They sound great, but... I guess that's why we have all the T-Racks stuff. However, I picked up another $12.50 Kuassa pedal for good measure. PS. This GB is still A-M-A-Z-I-N-G!
