Soundtoys 50% Upgrade Sale Coming in mid-August - lasts for 4 weeks
mibby replied to Reid Rosefelt's topic in Deals
That's when I bought in. They were the first Dev I went "all-in". It's sad to see they haven't done anything new since Little Plate. (?) They went from a premier Dev to an afterthought. Such a promising company and great plugins, it's just too bad. I wonder if they lost their main developer or some other internal shake-up happened? (Disclaimer: pure WAG conjecture!) Anyway, hopefully the new website in indicative of new things coming from SoundToys. -
I stopped reading this thread a while ago, but every time I see it I keep thinking of this comment: GarageBand and iRig on an iPad was my re-entry into recording about 8 years ago. It doesn't get much simpler than that. (Unless you want to export the tracks!) I think Presonus is set up very well to do something like that, only better IMHO.

? Would it work?? Do you get to keep them after? That's brilliant!

Any discount coupons to be had?

Anyone know why Softube no longer accepts PayPal for U.S. customers? To bad, I was all set to buy it too. Just as well, I've got a whole pile of Tape plugins from the IK Group buy now anyway... ?
-
Yes, I did and I'm full up! I've been eying the Tape plugins and Fame and few others for a while and this was a great way to pick up them up and was totally worth it. I just wish there was something to do with extra picks... ?
-
It was too good to pass up. Soooo, are we just plain out of luck if we have no more T-Racks we can pick? ?
-
@MusicMan Unfortunately, you can only use your referral code on a first purchase...

I don't know why the S1 Splitter never makes those features lists. It's got to be the most underrated feature ever...
-
Back in 2015, I demoed a bunch of DAWs and my short list was down to Cakewalk and Studio One. I found a deal for S1 Producer and went with that and haven't looked back. It wasn't really anything specific. I found I kept comparing any other DAW I demoed to S1. The workflow was intuitive and worked for me.

Looks awesome! Thanks Boz!

Anyone use these? Open back HP are on my someday list. All I ever see/read about are the Senheiser HD650s ($$!)
-
@Peter - IK Multimedia Now can you work your magic and get them to make the Amplitude plugins as separate VSTs? ?
-
I was going to write the same thing...

Let's see what VirusTotal has to say about it. It's big so it may take awhile. -- edit -- I'm back. A handful of sites couldn't process the file, but the ones that did all came up clean...

I've been watching Pi & Phi for years but it has always been too expensive. But this is as low as I've seen it, but still not no-brainer territory. I love the idea of the whole phase aligning the different frequency ranges for clarity (I think that's what it does) but it was just too subtle for me back when I demoed it. I would love to hear someone's input on this one too.
-
Yes, that's it. I think you just answered my question. What do you see if you look in the Members Area under "Complete Your Amplifikation 360 Bundle!"? I had been waiting for a big sale and for mine to dip below $100. I can't remember exactly what it was, but now it's $159!
-
Yes, I realize that. I'm wondering if you get future new amps and such for free if you own the A360 Bundle? What I especially like about Kuassa, other than the plugins sound great, is that you can use them as individual VSTs outside of A360. It makes them 2x better!
-
Anyone know if you buy the complete Amplifikation 360 bundle if you get the new stuff for free? Too much to hope for? I'm guessing they just give you a discount based on what you own?
-
I'd guess they want to get MixBox in front of more users and make it more attainable pricewise with the LE version...
-
Dynamics is another great one! It's annoying that I've been buying these over the years to get to the all-in package. It makes me wonder what they're up to? Maybe they just want a larger user base?
