  1. You can get their new Smash plugin for $23.80 with the code. Core Compressor is $14. Tempting. Anyone use these plugins? I recall the N105 console got some love when it came out.
  2. So, correct me if I'm wrong: this is basically a dedicated hardware controller for their reverb plugin, right? Aren't I better off mapping my favorite reverb(s) to a generic controller (i.e. Faderport) - if I can actually do that. (?)
  3. I love this plugin, but I hate that you only get one seat. It's iLok-able, but I still have to remember my iLok if I want to do something on my laptop instead of the DAW downstairs. (Same gripe with SoundToys too, BTW.) As a result, I don't use them on my laptop.
  4. That was exactly my impression too! Now I see it's the same dev as FrontDAW, so the saturation should be tasty. Looking forward to trying this out - thanks MM!
  5. Makes me think of JST Sky Box on sale for $19. I picked it up a while ago for like $11. I haven't played with it much, but the time I did, I'll admit to being pleasantly surprised. https://joeysturgistones.com/collections/mixing-effects/products/jst-sky-box PS. I you feel like dealing with their annoying shopping site, leave it in your cart for a bit and they'll send you a coupon for an additional % off...
  6. Slice EQ and Carve EQ were both CM freebies at one time. Can you get them through the newly opened FileSolo Portal?
  7. Ha! Almost a year ago for me - Dec 2021! Let me know if they give you anything...

    Da king is back!

The earth has ceased to wobble on its axis and Lars is back posting deals before we commoners know they are deals. All is right with the world! Welcome back Lars!
  9. Good find! TBProAudio has got to be one of the most underrated devs around. I'm always recommending their ISLO8 plugin for monitoring, but for some reason I always forget to check back on the site for other plugins. The channel strip, gain rider, and ABLM plugins all looks pretty amazing and are surprisingly affordable for all the features! Maybe this dev just doesn't have enough visibility since he's not on any of the resellers? Regardless, bookmarked (again) and I will be watching these (again!) ...
  10. Guilty! It worked on me for Melda stuff too. ? Ireally don't begrudge the change in marketing in the slightest. I'm happy to support this excellent dev. They are on a roll! Keep 'em coming KiloHearts! ?
  11. Every bit of your post is true, Erik! ? Work and other stuff have gotten in the way of mixing this year - but NOT plugin shopping. I've been on a delay/reverb binge, it's nuts. I didn't think I needed/wanted anything more from PSP, then they re-released their PSP Echo, I tried it out, and WOW! I still haven't really gotten to play with my shiny new-ish UVI Dual Delay X that I picked up a while ago when it was introduced. Then there the AAS Objeq Delay that was a free with purchase? And now this Kilohearts freebie! (I'm sure there are some I've forgotten about too!) This is such a great time for those of us who like to fiddle around with music...
  12. For any of the paranoid types out there, how about this one? ? https://www.vice.com/en/article/y3pp8y/amazon-buys-roomba-company-will-now-map-inside-of-your-house
  13. S-W-E-E-T! So, are they adding it to their FREEBIES collection?? It's a ridiculous number of quality plugins for FREE in case anyone isn't aware. I'm still really curious about the move to offer so many of their previous reasonably priced plugins for FREE! ...or maybe I'm just bitter since I bought so many of them? ? Still, I don't mind giving this great dev some of my plugin $$. PS. THANKS KiloHearts! PSS. I just saw the email, and YES it is a new FREEBIE!
  14. To be clear, GainMatch does this too and is very user friendly.
  15. MAutoAlign instead of Time Align for all the reasons earlier in this thread. (Disclaimer: I don't own Time Align.) Now, I'll be the first to admit I'm a Melda fanboy, and MCompare works great for blind testing mixes. But I always found it kind of a pain to set up and analyze at different points in a signal chain to hear the difference that way. Once I finally did figure out how to do that, the next time I wanted to do it, I had to re-learn how to do it. (Maybe it's just me.) The plugin I reach for hands down for this sort of thing (and many others!) is GainMatch by LetiMix. It's not a part of this sale but is crazy good value at $19. You can catch it on sale for about $10. Totally user friendly and works great! https://letimix.com/products/gainmatch
  16. Yes, and Boz has said as much on another forum. You can use a panning plugin (or your DAW), then monoize the lower frequencies (i.e. Mongoose) to the same effect. There are many ways to accomplish this, but what's so nice about Boz's Panner is he makes it easy to do with just the one plugin.
  17. I was thinking this would be great plugin when you just want that elongated shimmer-like reverb or some special FX and don't want to fuss with a bunch of knobs. BTW, it's the same dev as Hyperspace, so I'll bet it has some EXCELLENT reverb algorithms...
  18. I'm contrary to Brian's review. I quite like Boz's The Wall and it has been on my template for years as my final limiter. It's just so easy to use, has a great UI, and has oversampling, etc. I have started exploring others, but when I want something quick and easy AND a known good, it The Wall for me.
  19. Good to know. I'll need to demo. Maybe it's better used as a mix-only plugin then?
  20. I wonder if AD is going to rotate plugins throughout this sale? That could be v-e-r-y dangerous!

    $24 ? IRCAM Lab TS2

I've never heard of it and know nothing about it, but don't most of our DAWs already have these editing capabilities built in?
  22. I was looking at Precision Align, but MAutoAlign does time alignment and spectral alignment and works great. It is probably my single most used Melda plugin. Align drums, guitar/bass Di/cabs, I even use it to align my kick/bass. I got yelled at by the developer because you're not supposed to, but it actually works sometimes! ? What I really like about this one is how easy it is to use. After you have it set up on your tracks and grouped (mine is in my template), you simply analyze the tracks, toggle the bypass a few times to see if it's better, then move on... It's an awesome plugin! https://www.meldaproduction.com/MAutoAlign
  23. bump. Also on sale at AudioDeluxe... https://www.audiodeluxe.com/products/united-plugins-cryostasis
  24. MAutoAlign is a total no-brainer at $12 bucks!
  25. There are some good ones for sure! There would be a lot more if they were ALL $12! I'll probably pick up Transmutator, it's been on my list for a while. https://www.audiodeluxe.com/products/audio-plugins/united-plugins-transmutator
