  1. That looks great! I've used it since he first created it, but haven't looked at it for awhile now. He's really done some nice work on this!
  2. Back when I was looking for a DAW, Cakewalk wasn't free, and it was down to Studio One (v2 at the time) and Sonar for a pretty comparable price. I just preferred the workflow of Studio One and went with it and never looked back. I think Studio One is awesome, but is starting to get expensive and unwieldy for what I'm doing. If I were looking today or someone were to ask me, I'd say it's a no-brainer to pick Cakewalk by Bandlab. It does everything I think I'd need and has a great and talented community around it. I'm super impressed at what BandLab has done with CakeWalk.
  3. Heads up! From their webpage....
  4. Sadly, they were probably just trying to make the pricing "simple"! LOL! I emailed sales asking what's up with the price and what about a better about a price for bundle owners. I'll still probably buy it just to support them, but come on...
  5. Looking good and too bad about JRR. That's a good store. Thanks for the transparency on the commissions info. That's disappointing for all the work that goes into the site, but I've been very curious. Hopefully you're heading in the right direction. Also, the email reminders continue to work, but only with "Price alert" in the subject...
  6. Who are you and what have you done with Bapu?? ?
  7. Well, I got the CA-2A. I was Sonar for a short time back then. But I missed out on this one. I did get the Quadravox though!
  8. Is that a deal?? ?
  9. Wow! That was quite a freebie! Just curious when was that? It's way too $$ now to even consider...
  10. It's win-win-win! Buyer is happy, Referrer is happy, Melda is happy! ?
  11. LOL! I never even realized until recently that I've been calling it wrong all these years! I don't think I'll ever be able to call it "tube"... You have to click the "Buy Now" button, then it will give you your price. https://www.ikmultimedia.com/products/ts4/
  12. The new installer is pretty nice! https://www.audiodamage.com/blogs/news/the-train-kept-a-rollin Latest version release notes...
  13. True. I have all of the T-Racks stuff and maybe 99% of Amplitude Amplitube plus Most of Modo Drums and Bass and others from various Group Buys, and this is my "upgrade" price. I don't get this. Do you feel like IK doesn't provide quality software?? I mean, you bought TS3.5 for some reason. Do you feel like it wasn't worth what you paid? This Max upgrade pricing thing is totally different from what Waves just tried to pull which does justify that sentiment. IK's pricing is screwy, but it's not a money grab at the customers' expense. I've gotten some high quality stuff from them over the years for really decent prices, sometimes even FREE. --- edit --- correct product name --- ---
  14. And Dynamics is awesome! BTW, it's also a better-than replacement for Wave's M2... https://kilohearts.com/products/dynamics

    WUP is back

I haven't used it Peter but there are a few of them out there. The first two that come to mind are Izotope's Nectar3 harmony Module and Melda's MHarmonizer. I'm sure you could do the same with Melodyne too, but I have tried. --- edit --- Also Eventide's Octa/Quadra Vox plugins...

    Too late

  17. Thanks for the reset PA, but bummer on the price changes. I was going to pick up the BX Flanger for free next, but....
  18. Honestly, this changes nothing for me except for my mindset. I will continue to use the plugins I've got until they don't work any longer or I've replaced them. Nothing is different because I was never a WUPPER either. What HAS changed is that now there is no option for me to move forward as a Waves customer. I cannot buy another plugin if I wanted to NOR can I upgrade my existing ones to get them working again. So Waves has successfully severed me as a current and long-term prospective customer, because I cannot foresee ever wanting to subscribe. As I said earlier and has been pointed out a number of times, I think they crunched the numbers and this portion of the business (perpetual licenses) was not cost effective. So now, they'll move forward with their licensing deals with the various manufactures and support those who subscribe (like pro studios) who as a result are always on the most current version of the Waves plugins. And now they have a more predictable and recurring revenue stream. It makes things a whole lot easier on their end. It's just business.
  19. What's the point of that? They already have our information...
  20. Now WHY on earth would we do that??
  21. I like the different flavors of Saturators. It's a little disappointing that no FX are included like IK's Mixbox, but not a deal breaker. I figure 1 insert slot to shape your sound, then sweeten it with your various FX with all of your leftover Inserts and Sends. Here's the PSP page.... https://www.pspaudioware.com/products/psp-infinistrip#module-list
  22. Me too! I watched a couple of videos on it (again) and it seems really well thought out. I certainly don't need it, but what a price for a bunch of quality plugins!
