I see them now. Thanks!

I just checked and the Seismic audio cables on there are more expensive than on their own site. Plus, I'll get a 10% off with code WELCOME10OFF. So a total of $33.30 for 6' TRS to TRS cables (x6). At more than 50% less than Sweetwater's price, I guess it's time to buy. Thanks!

I found myself a little annoyed at these. They look like identical UIs, but different plugins? Just stick a Modern/Vintage switch on there...

I need 4 TRS to TRS cables. I found this site this morning which looks pretty good. They seem stupid $$ at Sweetwater. https://www.seismicaudiospeakers.com/search?q=6'+1%2F4"+TRS+to+1%2F4"+TRS+Patch+Cable&pf_pt_product_type=Audio+Cables&pf_pt_product_type=Patch+Cables Where do you guys gets yours?

I don't think so either. They gave away some "lite" versions a couple of years ago which is why I'm on the email list. For $12 each I am sort of curious about a couple of these...

You can also just filter down to the ADSR store, then sort by price here. https://musicsoftwaredeals.com/?sort_by=price_asc&jsf=jet-engine:main&tax=source_websites:525&sort=orderby%3Ameta_value_num%3Border%3AASC%3Bmeta_key%3Aprice

For a little more, I got this one. https://www.adsrsounds.com/product/software/united-plugins-pluralis-delay/ ..., because delays are like reverbs - you can never have enough. ?

That was my real point to @antler. Just because a mix is loud doesn't mean it's "bad". @bitflipper I'm shocked by how loud the Bruno song is! But it's still an outstanding mix. The Traveling Wilburys' song has its merits too. But it is very different material and from a different time/era. If your mix is good, you can exceed the streaming platform's normalization level, get turned down, and you still have a good mix. I don't think we should mix to whatever any given streaming platform's normalization level is just because they're telling us that is their chosen level. We should let the song dictate how loud it should be and how much we should use dynamics to get the message across. It's a trade-off sometimes. That is all. I didn't mean to reignite the dynamics wars. peaceout. ☮️

I'm not trying to be contentious, but I think perhaps you misunderstood my point. And let me preface my reply with - I had no idea what the LUFS was going to be on this track. I use it frequently as a reference. I used a YouTube converter site to download a .WAV file, then ran it through the YouLean online analyzer. It's a "modern" mix by Serban, one of THE most in demand mix engineers today ( https://serbanghenea.com/). Even turned down on Spotify, you cannot objectively say this mix lacks "oomph!" In fact, I think you'd be hard-pressed to find a better mix in spite of the lack of dynamic range in this one. (material dependent of course!) Here are the results: My real point is, that, in spite of the lack of dynamic range in this particular mix, it is a phenomenal mix and not lacking much of anything. You can still get a superb mix with a LUFS of -8.37 if you know what you're doing as Serban does.

I think when a mix is too loud, it'll just get turned down to whatever the normalized level is. That 8 LUFS mix is giving up some dynamic range for loudness. If you can make a great sounding mix that comes in at 8 LUFS (like the pro mix you mentioned ) then you're ahead of the game. It'll just get turned down, but will still sound good - AND louder overall than a more dynamic mix. (At least this is my current understanding anyway.)

Thanks for popping in Aaron! I emailed you today after buying your plugin. This forum is a fantastic way to get in front of some of your customers and answer some questions. You might also like to sign on over on the KVR forum if you haven't already. Some Devs have utilized that site as a support forum for their products.

Doh! I guess I needed to look further back... ?

If you're willing to "level up" and put in the time, there are a LOT of things to like about the Melda plugins. (Disclaimer: I am far from leveled up!) Here's one: https://www.meldaproduction.com/about/technology/plugin-kernel Also, the MB suffix on the various plugins does indeed mean "multi-band", but the functionality is waaaaay beyond just multi-band. Once you figure it out, you can apply the same principles to any of the plugins with the "MB" suffix. https://www.meldaproduction.com/tutorials/video/multiband Of course, ChandlerGuitar has a video to demonstrate this. Here's one of them. The same "multiband" functionality applies to any of the MB plugins.
